- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 144 reviewsWe had a truly lovely stay at the Bellachroy Hotel, nestled in a quiet little village, in a less populated regions of the Isle of Mull. The location is fantastic for exploring the island’s wild beauty and hidden gems. The rooms were cozy, and spotlessly clean—perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The absolute highlight was the restaurant: a daily changing menu featuring freshly prepared dishes that were consistently delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were warm and welcoming, and evenings at the bar offered a relaxed, friendly atmosphere to wind down. Highly recommended for those seeking comfort, great food, and a tranquil retreat in one of Mull’s more untouched corners.Guest review bySusanneGermany

Picturesque great little seafront.
Picturesque great little seafront. There are a number of nice restaurants and bars. Shops catered for all needs whether touristy or supplies. Sea trips were easy to find and the ferry from Tobermory to Ardnamurchan was also a smooth experience.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Very small village.
Very small village. Good charity shop and cafe and small Spar shop. Craignure Inn very poor food. Isle of mull community swimming pool good. Isle of mull food good but expensive. 45mins to Tobermory for shops and reasonable pubs/cafes. One hour on mainly single track roads to Dervaig and 90mins to Fionnphort for ferry to Iona ( £4.60 return on ferry to Iona then 10mins walk to Abbey for £9 entrance) . Good community pub in Fionnphort with good range of real ales and good food.Guest review byTomUnited Kingdom - 10.0

What a fabulous location and not only a well appointed pod but the camp site had everything. The Inn was great with fabulous food and a very friendly staff. The access arrangements for the pod were clear and very well communicated in a timely fashion. The pod itself was very well appointed with a surprising amount of amenities available, clearly very well thought out. Highly recommended.Guest review byStewartAustralia - 10.0
I loved Iona so much.
I loved Iona so much. I wanted to stay for more than the overnight. Walking around the island, soaking in the energy of the land and the beauty of the coastline was magical. It was very inspiring. I wrote two songs while I was there and started several more. I loved my hike to Port Banh beach and St. Columba's Bay and walking around the town. I dined at the Argyll Hotel, which was excellent and had lunch at the Marty's Bay Cafe & Bar. I also did the Nature Adventure tour to Lunga and the Treshnish Islands and Staffa and it was an incredible experience. I highly recommend that.Guest review byBarnhartUnited States - 10.0

It was easy to cycle to the ferry for Iona and we were also able to travel around the island by car, but the roads can be tricky if it is busy. We also had a problem with sea water coming over the road on one occasionGuest review byGrahamUnited Kingdom - 8.0
A good location to explore Ross of Mull and Mull South.
A good location to explore Ross of Mull and Mull South. There is not much in way of shops until Craignure and Salen. Definately get some mussels from the Mussel shack up the road to cook up in But n Ben. For walking the dogs Loch side towards Croggan or just back up to main road is a nice car park with a gravelled walk.Guest review byLeeUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We loved the location and the size of the house.
We loved the location and the size of the house. The photos don't really do it justice. We were a group of all adults so every room having an en-suite was just fantastic. We enjoyed using the house - cooking together in the kitchen and relaxing in the living room. There is some construction in the immediate area but this didn't detract from any enjoyment of the property. It was lovely to walk down to the pier in the evening with a bottle of wine and have a drink. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights there but, even without that, the stars were beautiful. A great base to explore the Island as there's so much to do there - walks were great and visits to other Islands were easy. Recommend Ulva with it's unique ferry, Staffa and the beautiful Iona. The bike hire is just across the road and we loved using the electric bikes to go to Tobermory. The shops, local coffee shop and bakery are all within walking distance and there's a great tea room/farm shop about 2 miles away.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Tash and Craig were fabulous hosts.
Tash and Craig were fabulous hosts. Home difficult to find, but worth the one track drive. Breakfast was best in 18 days in Scotland Craig is a fabulous chef and he never disappointed us. Tash always offered suggestions for sightseeing and detailed driving directions. Thank u Tash and CraigGuest review byRuddick - 8.0

We stayed only one night and probably should have stayed two. The town itself is lovely but takes only a short time to stroll along the harbour and browse in the gift shops. With another day we would have done the walk up to Tobermory lighthouse and maybe taken a whale watching tour. Several excellent restaurants - we went to MishDish which was great and would have been good to sample more than one. Definitely worth a 2 night stay, but maybe not more, unless you plan to drive or cycle around the island and visit other attractions such as distillery, nature walks etc.Guest review byClareUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The spa hotel is a gorgeous place to stay.
The spa hotel is a gorgeous place to stay. Craignure has beautiful nature whilst also being close to the ferry terminal. A wonderful relaxing and restorative place to stay especially after a day exploring Mull, Iona and Staffa.Guest review byJenniferUnited Kingdom
