- From £160 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 137 reviewsBeautiful setting and building Friendly welcoming staff I received a free upgrade which meant I got to stay in the main house. I saw a cosy lounge area for afternoon tea. Beautiful grand staircase. Festive decorations made it really warm and cosy. Attended a party in the stable area. Perfect for a sit down meal for around 60 people. Food was fantastic and hot. Service was excellent Late checkout is 11am which leaves time to enjoy the breakfast from a menu. Not by buffet style. Highly recommend.Guest review byAndreaUnited Kingdom

The beach is at the end of the high street in Broadstairs which is perfect for picking up any last minute amenities along the way. I visited the Turner Museum for the first time & I found travelling backwards & forwards from Broadstairs station to Margate a few times (forgetful me) really easy & I'm not sure if this would have been any easier by car so its a 👍 for the railways.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

The Dog & Bear was very comfortable.
The Dog & Bear was very comfortable. Great to have a bath with really hot water after a hard day walking the Pilgrims Way. Food was just what we needed, well cooked, filling and tasty. Staff were helpful friendly and interesting. Other places are available to eat. Many wonderful historic buildings in Lenham. Easy walk to the train station.Guest review byKatrinaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We stayed at the start of the summer holidays and hence were caught up in heavy traffic on the A20 enroute to Dover. Apparently that happens quite frequently, so factor this in to travel times. Very close to Leeds Castle, and not far from Canterbury and Sissinghurst so plenty to do in the area.Guest review byChristineUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A delightful village, just off the beaten track that feels like it is some sort of time warp. A great place if you want to slow down for just a little while. This was our third visit, and we look forward to many more.Guest review byChrisUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Lovely pub dinner, served in very comfortable surroundings by gorgeous ladies at the Chequers Pub down the road in the village. So attentive to our needs. The menu was good with many specials and the food was locally sourced and prepared fresh daily on site. Had a lovely afternoon/evening - met some lovely locals. Would definitely recommend a visit.Guest review byKinghorneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We loved the pool, crazy golf, tennis courts and table tennis. Having loads of grass areas around the grandchildren could play football or just run around. We had an Indian takeaway delivered, which was really good. The Rising Sun pub do very good food, only a short walk away. We went shopping in Deal, bought some lovely things. Drinking our morning coffee on the decking outside, with the sun shining and a view of the sea is something I will miss. We used the Deli and got some really good sausages and burgers.Guest review byCarolineUnited Kingdom
