They also went out of their way to great us, make us feel so welcomed, and super friendly! The spot is beautifully decorated as well-they've just re-done the sitting room. I loved staying here, they also kept the rooms so toasty and warm.Guest review byjaclynUnited States

This was just an overnight stop on our way to Islay from Glasgow - we took an afternoon bus to Tarbert and got private transport to Kennakraig ferry terminal the morning after. The town was lovely, with a nice castle and a couple of good restaurants as well as a pub with plenty of whisky options. We might have even stayed a bit longer had we known it was such a lovely place.Guest review byManuel E.Poland - 10.0

An amazing set up.
An amazing set up. A good sized, well equipped, spotless en-suite room with a separate communal lounge/kitchen. Breakfast is in the welcoming cafe next door, run by the owners of the accommodation. There's also a gift shop and small garden centre. On an evening we were welcome to relax in the large conservatory/glasshouse. The staff were the best team we've come across this year. We wished we were staying longer.Guest review bykarenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We loved the easy access to our room with 3 dogs and a massive walk in shower gave us that extra space. We loved the clean towels and also how special you made it for our dogs, extra doggie towels and blankets and chewies for all 3 :))) We loved tea and coffee, chocs and biscuits and shampoos etc We loved the restaurant options and easy access for the dogs plus being able to sit outside and enjoy beachfront views or inside sea views - awesome!! Extra special to take the dogs out for beach walks although sad about one of the Canadian geese, and too many dead seagulls on the shore but overall beautiful seaside adventure. We travelled down as far as Saddler and got to tour with best mate Jane. Enjoy the peace, quiet, clean natural lifestyle while you can and it becomes another tourist overcrowded beach.Guest review byTeniUnited Kingdom - 10.0

20 mins drive from Tarbert - Starfish Inn highly recommended to eat. Great seafood. Clachan is situated on the main road to Campbelltown ie 50 mins. Close to ferry links to Gigha & Islay. Clachan is quiet, small hamlet with Petrol station.Guest review byTimothyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Wonderful property. Comfortable and spotless with all the facilities you will need for a self catering holiday. The views are to die for and it is very dog friendly. Location is great for exploring Kintyre and the islands. The host is lovely, very friendly and helpful. Great place to relax and unwind, but equally great for walking and exploring.Guest review byLeanaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Campbelltown is a lovely small town. Very picturesque.
Campbelltown is a lovely small town. Very picturesque. Lots of independent shops and eateries. Beautiful walk along the seafront. For the size of the town there's a reasonable amount to do. It's easy to get everywhere on foot within the town center and there's ample free parking.Guest review byPat - 8.0

Tarbert was a location I needed to visit for my book project. I had been here before. It is close to Saddell Abbey and Skipness Castle and the Tarbert Castle in town is worth the climb. Tarbert's history is also iinteresting.Guest review byPatUnited States
