- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,090 reviewsWe loved the service here, the staff was well informed and very friendly. We could park our car at the location and we quickly got our room and checked in. The dinner and the overall atmosphere was lovely and breakfast was delicious. The beds were very comfortable and by car the location was only a few minutes to Loch Ness. We didn't hear anything during the night from other neighbours, very quiet.Guest review byChristianeAustria
- From £188 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.4Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 1,272 reviewsYou won't find a more traditional Scottish ambiance anywhere else. This place has such charm...burning wood fire, traditional music playing whilst you eat a delicious home cooked full, hot breakfast. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Yes, the decor is a little tired but for us this just added to the charm. Staff were so helpful and the location is fantastic!Guest review bySarahThailand
- From £175 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 344 reviewsVery friendly and helpful staff, nice and clean room with a cosy bed and a nice view over the woods and Loch Ness. Food in the restaurant was great. Property is off the main road and quiet but only two minutes walk to the lovely Waterfall Café and a grocery store, which is also a great plus. All in all a great experience.Guest review byThomasAustria

A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is located just outside the village. The village itself is very pleasant with a beautiful village green which had a market on it the day we left. The Fiddlers Restaurant on the village green was a great place to eat, drink and watch the world go by. Urquhart Castle is well worth visiting with a great visitor centre and Loch Ness as a splendid backdrop to the stunning castle remains.Guest review byStephenHong Kong - 8.0
Cute little town on the south end of Loch Ness.
Cute little town on the south end of Loch Ness. It's quite in the mornings and evenings but gets very busy over day with day tourists by the bus load. Our accommodation was not on the main road, so we hardly noticed the other tourists. Great place for day touring to all four directions as we did.Guest review byTinaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It is a cute little village tucked away from the hustle and bustle from the more touristy areas in the Loch Ness area. Waterfalls and the Loch are easy walks, and it’s a short drive to Urquhart Castle and other sites. There are not a lot of places to dine, so the Glen Mariston is a good choice. Reservations will be needed.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 10.0
The whole experience at this place was excellent.
The whole experience at this place was excellent. The scenery was to die for. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic and other travellers were lovely to meet. The most comfortable bed and pillows we have stayed in throughout our entire trip. The manager is an exceptional helpful, lovely person, would highly recommend this facility to travellers. It’s a little hard to find and the road is not the best but well worth the effort 😀Guest review byToniAustralia - 10.0

Wonderful venue with views that literally take your breath away. The dining experience is restaurant quality. Hosts are superb, it’s clear their joy is your joy. Property is stunning, interior design you think but it’s just the imagination of Karla & Karl and it so works.Guest review bystuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This is from previous experience as the hotel I stayed in was some distance outside. Drumnadrochit is a lovely little town and well worth stopping over for a night on your travels. The people are friendly and helpful and I have visited many times over the years and always found it pleasant.Guest review byDaveUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Fort Augustus definately worth a visit although gets very busy with tourists. We appreciated slightly quieter places with less people around. There are a few places to eat out and would recommend the Chinese food at the Richmond House Hotel where we were staying. A couple of pubs too which are right on the canal and providing a welcome restGuest review byBarbaraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lots of interesting things even though it was onky a small village. Loved our stay at Craig na Dav, a lovely B&B. Would highly recommend it. Comfortable accommodation with a great choice of breakfast. The sisters who run the place were really nice and made us so welcome,Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 10.0

An especially beautiful section of Loch Ness with stunning views, and walking the Falls of Foyers was reason alone enough to visit. The Waterfall Cafe is a very welcome stop, and I recommend the cheese and haggis toasties when you're there.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom
