CanadaA million dollar experience!....the staff made us feel like the most important guests they ever had, nothing was too much trouble, they were courteous, knowledgeable, and very kind. The room was the height of luxury, wonderful bed, huge bathroom and amazing views. The gardens were lovely, and supper at The Clansman was superb. What an amazing treat for our last day of touring the Highlands.

The dinner and the overall atmosphere was lovely and breakfast was delicious. The beds were very comfortable and by car the location was only a few minutes to Loch Ness. We didn't hear anything during the night from other neighbours, very quiet.

A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is located just outside the village. The village itself is very pleasant with a beautiful village green which had a market on it the day we left. The Fiddlers Restaurant on the village green was a great place to eat, drink and watch the world go by. It is a cute little village tucked away from the hustle and bustle from the more touristy areas in the Loch Ness area. Waterfalls and the Loch are easy walks, and it’s a short drive to Urquhart Castle and other sites. There are not a lot of places to dine, so the Glen Mariston is a good choice. The whole experience at this place was excellent. The scenery was to die for. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic and other travellers were lovely to meet. The most comfortable bed and pillows we have stayed in throughout our entire trip. The manager is an exceptional helpful, lovely person, would highly recommend this facility to travellers. Cute little town on the south end of Loch Ness. It's quite in the mornings and evenings but gets very busy over day with day tourists by the bus load.
