George & Grant made it a wonderful stay. Two hard working lads there. All the team were super hard working and friendly. The breakfast is incredible and it's cooked to order. I had a few beers in the rear bar and was able to watch a football match through the window while enjoying a pint. The whole stay was 10/10 and we will definitely return. The room had everything we needed and they even left a small bag of treats for the dog. We could have our dog in the bar as well as for breakfast.. But to make it easier for us we left him in the room when we went for breakfast. The room was warm and the shower was powerful. Excellent location. To the left a lovely walk through the water ways a Nd boating lake,to the right the down, the piers and main attractions.

We tried to book in Southwold, but with the heatwave and last minute, there was nothing available. So we ended up here and had a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is very new, easy parking. We couldn’t open the front door, but the manager was very friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic, spotless, great bathroom, comfortable bed and very quiet, very nice decor throughout. We walked to Lowestoft high street along the coastal path, very nice walk too. We were here only for one night, but very happy with the hotel and location.

There are loads of things to do in great Yarmouth fabulous walks along the prom or the beach. Fair ground to visit with the children. Slot machine all on the front. loads of little cafe on the prom to stop and eat or a drink. Lovely sandy beaches to spend a day on .The Norfolk broads and take a boat trip. We found a lovely place to eat and we had to book as it is always packed so booking is essential at Hotel Ocean the food is amazing and we went there twice and enjoyed every min. 5* all round and staff are very attentive.

We were with two small children, so most of our time revolved around the beach and the nearby play park! We did have a day at Africa Alive, and that was very nice - right sort of size for young'uns, and with a nice play area and crazy golf too!

Hemsby beach is lovely and sandy. The sea was clearer than i thought it would be. I especially liked that when the tide goes out it leaves alittle sea section on the beach so little ones can play in it and be watched without worrying about the tide taking them out. Lovely shops and food as well. The is a nice go kart track as well for all the family to enjoy and alittle fair ground part as well. Not overly expensive either

Beccles is a delightful little town, though there wasn't much to do on a very cold day in February. We would love to go back when the weather is kinder. Despite the cold there were people swimming in the lido! In the summer there's a ferry from there to a community owned pub.

We went on a boat trip which started about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel and lasted ninety minutes. Really enjoyed looking at the waterfront properties and the wildlife - probably the best part of the weekend, apart from spending time together as a family. We took a trip to Blickling Estate in the afternoon and enjoyed our evening meal at the Thai Ubon restaurant.
