- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,173 reviewsVery well located, about 10mns walk from the station; The property is clean and well maintained. It has this warm and cozy feeling. Small hotel, staff are helpfull and friendly. The Table d'Hôtes menu is small with quality ingredients, the breakfast is so mouth watering I wanted to eat every dish from menu. The hotel is pet friendly, there are 2 beautiful restauants rooms. One more classy with a beautiful garden view, and the other "pet friendly room" with a more library atmosphere. The bedrooms are charming & comfortable. I had a very good night at Falcon Manor. I only stayed 1 night, and I will definetely come back when I'll have the opportunity to do so.Guest review byHarrisFrance
- From £194.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 929 reviewsWhat's not to like here? The beds were comfortable, the rooms immaculately clean and fresh, the decor modern and really nice, the views from the rooms breathtaking, the food super tasty, and the landscape and scenery surrounding the hotel out of this world! But what really made it a 10/10 for me was the staff! They were all really brilliant! But, a special thanks goes to Steve, who was really so helpful and nice! 😊Guest review byRanveigNorway

Richmond is a lovely small town on a hill.
Richmond is a lovely small town on a hill. There is a large cobbled market square. Quaint streets lead off from it. The indoor market has lots of good stalls. The castle is behind this and well worth a visit. The Georgian Theatre is well worth a visit. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants. The Railway Station has a cinema, a café, small shops and an exhibition area. There is a well marked circular walk of about three miles to Earby Abbey. Entrance is free. Earby Church , next to it, has a collection of amazing Medieval wall frescos. Paddling in the river at the bottom of Mill Road is popular. The town has steep roads. The parking can be a problem with generally limited times.Guest review byGawperUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Grassington is a lovely village in a great location within the dales. Lots of nice walks from there, especially along the river. It has plenty of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants to choose from. A fabulous place for breakfast, the old school room (8 mins in car).Guest review byPhilUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It has most of what you would expect from a traditional Yorkshire Dales village and more, with a good mix of old and new. A very traditional inn, down to earth, with a good mix of locals and visitors, sits next to a recently refurbished one, apparently aiming for the higher spending tourists. A central area offers cobbled parking in front of inns and shops. There is still a village green, (with actual local children playing), a post office, a general store and a mix of other outlets for arts/crafts, gifts, ice-cream etc. Very easy access to both the gentler riverside aspects and the wilder moorlands of the area.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The Masons pub was friendly owner and staff are lovely food good. Ingleton has a lot of things to offer for walkers . Not many places to let the dog off safely. Where dogs have to be kept on lead maybe a dog park would be good.Guest review byLynneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely village surrounded by amazing limestone scenery.
Lovely village surrounded by amazing limestone scenery. Two nice pubs and a good cafe. Bus service. Good paths and signposts. Take a carrier bag on your walks to collect litter, as this is unfortunately a popular place for inconsiderate visitors!Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Hawes is a great place for a day visit or a longer stay.
Hawes is a great place for a day visit or a longer stay. For a meal out, The Wensleydale Pantry receives our highest recommendation and we've had many years of experience with it. Most of the cafes are very good, Penny Garth is OK with you don't mind sharing it with dozens of motorcyclists! Parking is easy just on the edge of town, good walks to Hardraw Falls and there's a great deal to see in the area so it makes a great base. First visited 50 years ago and always happy to be there so I think I can make honest suggestions.Guest review byJagSovUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Caw Cottage is simply wonderful.
Caw Cottage is simply wonderful. It has everything you will need for a relaxing stay in the Yorkshire Dales. Perfectly placed to explore this beautiful area and with Sedbergh just a few miles down the road with a number of good pubs/restaurants, everything is within easy reach. Caw Cottage is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The bed is super comfortable too. The hosts are nearby, very friendly and helpful, but very respectful of your privacy. Caw Cottage is a gem of a place. Well worth the visit.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom
