- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,332 reviewsI had asked for a quiet room and got one, but it was also spacious, well furnished and attractive. Staff kindly carried my bag to my room when it was ready (the Arden occupies an old building, so halls are long and stairs part of any journey, unless one uses the lift for mobility reasons). I was visiting Straford in order to go to the theatre, and no hotel is closer to the Royal Shakespeare Company's theatres than this one. I had an excellent breakfast in the attractive restaurant before departing. The restaurant staff were as friendly and attentive as the desk staff. I would be delighted to stay at the Arden on my next journey to Stratford.Guest review byMaryDenmark
- From £273.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 3,733 reviewsOutstanding overall cosy accommodation in a beaut location. Ensuite was modern & a quite exceptional rain head shower. Heated towel rail was super efficient. Breakfast (incl in price) had multiple hearty choices with attentive service. Front desk Girls couldn't have been more helpful & the complimentary 'Counter Shortbread Treats" were delicious with a cuppa in our room for supper !!! Of course the historical factor (originally built pre 1500's !!) attracted us intially & we were so impressed with how it all looked now.Guest review byRogerNew Zealand

On this occasion, I was staying just one night (solo), in order to deliver a Workshop at the Aviva Bowls England National Finals. HOWEVER, my wife and I have stayed in Leamington on numerous occasions in the past and it is a really great place to base yourself for a holiday exploring the local countryside and tourist attractions. Within easy reach are Warwick and Coventry, along with other, ever-popular spots such as Shakespeare country, river trips on the Avon from Stratford (and other locations), etc., etc. There are numerous eateries in Leamington - from McDonalds and Wetherspoons to higher-end British, Asian, European and other cuisines. What's not to like about Leamington?Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Kenilworth Castle is a wonderful place to visit, and I would recommend it to anyone. Likewise Kenilworth itself - there is not much left of the Abbey, but it is definitely worth a stroll through the well-kept and tranquil grounds. The shopping area is well served with a large variety of shops, and plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Another thing I noticed was that there are lots of benches where one can stop to rest.Guest review byRodneyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Rugby is a pretty little town with some history.
Rugby is a pretty little town with some history. Most shopping is now in small retail estates on the outskirts, allowing for larger premises and stock. This means the towh centre has small cosy cafes drinking holes and a smattering of charity shops.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 8.0

we travel to Nuneaton regularly as my wife was born there to visit family. we frequent a fish shop Toppa's a lot, unfortunately a lot of the main shops have disappeared because of all the big shopping malls in the bigger towns, this is across all of the UK, eventually, we'll slow down the pace of living when there are no jobs and go back to the good old days ,ie the horse and cart Ha, Ha, Ha.Guest review byLudvigAustralia - 10.0

I stayed one night at this hotel, and unfortunately, the room I had booked was supposed to have large windows. However, when I checked in, I was given an attic room with very small triangular windows. The room was extremely hot throughout the night, and the air conditioning was not working. I asked the reception for help, but they told me that the air conditioning was broken and could not be fixed, and that my room did not have large windows also ther is no ben bag , im not sure how expensive isGuest review byMajidUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We didn't visit shipston itself but used it as a base for visiting other places, it's very well placed to do so, what I can say about shipston itself having passed through is that it's very picturesque and beautifulGuest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Service was not good .
Service was not good . We waited long for check in and 3 times had to use my card as the Internet service was bad at reception and kept declining. Room was smelly and pillows were not comfy and old . No extra pillows provided in the room. At breakfast time waited ages for someone to book us but no one available so we went in to the dinning area . Then a staff member rudely asked what room we are in ! Explained no one was at the front desk so came in after waiting ages and also seen other couples face the same thing during breakfast time . The name of the hotel and what we seen advertised was not the same expectation.Guest review byMohammad TaherUnited Kingdom
