I booked this hotel for the amazing view on the sea I didn't regretted. I just wanted to relax especially in the morning.
Taking the breakfast every day with the sea just in front of me was the most relaxing moment of the day.
Indeed maybe some rooms are quit old but if you're searching for a 5 stars comfort, you'll have to pay more and look for another hotel.
The staff (Mr Stavros and all the ladies from the breakfast) are very kindly like all Greek people.
When we arrived the air conditioning was broken but Mr Stavros immediately took action and it was repaired.
Yes the breakfast is same every morning but you have plenty of restaurants to try Greek products.
Just enjoy the Greek yogurt and olives during your breakfast at Panorama Hotel and keep looking the sea while you're eating. And fresh lemonade! Oh the jam is also very tasty!
The rest, it doesn't matter...You're not coming to Greece to stay 24h in the room.
Moreover the rocks with sunbeds just down the restaurant are just wowww, trust me - you'll feel like on your private beach!
And please try to take dinner at the hotel restaurant, their prices are really correct and food very tasty. I tried their restaurant on the last evening and I regret that I didn't tried often... !
Overall we spent a beautiful week at Panorama Hotel and I'll come back one day.

We were there with our little daughter (11 months) for 11 days. Every member of staff was incredibly nice. In our opinion, the breakfast and the modernity of the rooms are at least equivalent to a 4-star hotel. The view and the garden design are breathtakingly beautiful. The ferry harbour, the small beach, a supermarket and restaurants can be reached on foot in under 5 minutes.
If we travel to Aegina again, we would always stay at this hotel.

One massive bonus was the water pressure and hot water! Sometimes this can be hit and miss with holiday accommodation- I would gladly stay here again!
It was a perfect location for us to spend 4 days on the sunny island of Aegina.
Fair value for money, perfect position to visit the island, bus stop 3 minutes walk, supermarkets 1-3 minutes walk, beach / promenade / shops and restaurants 3-5 minutes walk, port 8-10 minutes walk.
Everything was excellent, from the staff to the room and the everyday cleaning. The breakfast had a good variety, some of the choices were changed daily and some others were stable - which we thought very good of.
Very nice place with a good atmosphere, close to the sea. The staff is nice, the room is cozy, with a small balcony. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The bar makes very good coffee. We will come back.

A colorful and vibrant island, with beautiful shops and excellent restaurants. Like everywhere in Greece, the locals are friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. When booking the ferry, pay attention—there are two ports on the island: one is the main port, and the other is secondary. The main port brings you closer to the livelier, more touristy area.
In any case, even if you arrive at the other port by mistake, you can easily take a taxi or a bus to the other side of the island.

In general south part of Aegina is much better than the northern part.
Perdika is a really nice place to stay, close to Marathonas, Sarpa and Klima beach (by far go to Klima beach).
Marathonas is good for families with young children as the sea is not deep.
Probably some more dinning options (other than Perdika fishing port) would be good, but Aegina city center is really close, not more than 15 mins drive.

It is more laid back.
It has some good tavernas, bars and restaurants.
The souvlaki at Theophilos is to die for. With a Greek salad and a small Carafe of wine , two Souvlakis 17 Euros. That's great.
There us a,small beach near the small harbour.
There is also a another beach slightly out of the town which in high season has sunbeds and a bar.
Just a short walk..
Souvala has a good Supermarket Bakery and some other little shops too.
Lovely little place.
And 15 mins by taxi to.Aegina,Town .

The location is quiet and relatively far away from the town, I mentioned relatively as the island is small so it doesn't take long to travel. So it's a good opportunity to stay in a quiet place with not much distance from the town. Still there are a few places to eat. The taxi will cost more to come there to take you to town, so instead of 18 euros you will pay 25.

Public transport on the island is not great so personal transport is required. You can see all you need to in 24-48 hours. I’m glad I visited but I didn’t find anything to make me want to return. My travel companion is vegan and it was very difficult to find vegan options on menus, and none that contained vegan protein in the many restaurants in Aegina or Perdika which we also visited.

Best taverna in the area would suggest 100% Kyriakakis right on the front, overlooking the sea, absolutely gorgeous. Food delicious, every dish we ordered better that the next. Wish we could eat more. Even had breakfast the next morning and all was perfect. The staff brilliant, polite and friendly.

Sufficient time to see the whole island, however, if you are to a beach holiday you could easily spend a week, as the island and the town has much to offer, especially the beautiful water and the great restaurants.
