- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 154 reviewsBeautiful family run hotel with amazing views of Votsi harbour. Maria and her family were so warm and friendly and went over and above to make our stay as enjoyable as possible - even doing some washing for us when needed! They collected us and dropped us at the port when arriving and leaving and advised on good places to visit such as the best beaches and restaurants. The room was cleaned everyday and they were always on hand if we had any questions or needed any help. The view of the harbour was even better than expected. The hotel is in a perfect location with a few restaurants and cafe bars in Votsi and only a 20 minutes walk to Patitiri. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return one day. Huge thanks to Maria and family for making us feel so welcome!Guest review byNickyUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 9 reviewsThe host, Konstantina, was very kind and helpful, she met us at the port and drove us to the villa where she gave us a lot of tips and recommendations about local restaurants and beaches. The villa itself really is a dream, every part of it is studied in the details and feels like a little angle of paradise. The location is very convenient for every part of the island (Patitiri, Chora, Kalamakia can all be reached by just a 15 minute drive). The outdoors is the part that will make you fall deeply in love with Anemolia Dream Villa, and the interior design is just the cherry on top of it. The linen is provided by the host and there is a cleaning service twice a week, in addition a pool boy will come every morning to take care of the pool and the outdoor spaces.Guest review byAndreaItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 276 reviewsAlonissos is a magical island if you want to avoid the crowds. It is not over touristed. We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to go back 😀 Alonissos Beach Bungalows have beautiful views and it’s own sandy beach. It is a steep walk but they have a buggy to shuttle you back & forth if you feel tired. Our room with balcony and lovely views was great , midway between beach & pool. The staff were all so helpful and charming. The menu was small but adequate as we wanted to experience the rest of beautiful Alonissos and the local restaurants. We traveled around by taxi which we found easy, helpful andalways reliable, thank you Nico.Guest review byKay VivienneAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 110 reviewsThis place is just amazing! Apartment wasn't very big but well equipped, very nice and cosy, super clean and with wonderful sea view balcony! Walking distance to the port (center of Alonissos Island) and just 2 minutes walking to the very nice beach with 2 taverns, coffee place and mini market. In apartment nr 306 I had very good wifi connection (suitable for work). Very good communication with very friendly and helpful owner - Maria.Guest review byKatarzynaPoland

- From £62.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 77 reviewsThe rooms were clean and the A/C worked well. We had towels and clean beds and a lovely little balcony to sit at that also has a clothesline to hang our wet bathing suits.. The location to the town and beach was in close proximity, as well as tourist shops and pharmacies. The staff were helpful when we called with questions and recommendations. It is a very nice and tidy small hotel.Guest review byCourtney KlaeCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 56 reviewsSimply wonderful. A small piece of paradise near Steni Vala. Excellent space, with cozy rooms, built in the same style of elevated spaces used in traditional houses, with majestic views of Peristera island from the spacious balconies. All of which though would say little, unless one added Katerina's warm hospitality and careful touches in making the place a serene Shangri-La.Guest review byΔημοσθένηςGreece

Alonnissos has great beaches, excellent food (traditional and modern), nice weather and a few folklore and antiquities (mainly on the Ottoman period, while some underwater archaeological sites are developing right now). It's good to have a car (and even better a 4X4), since most beaches are not in walking distance. Chora (the old village) is really pittoresque.Guest review byCostisGreece - 8.0
The island is beautiful, very green, wonderful beaches.
The island is beautiful, very green, wonderful beaches. The village is super cute and overall it is a fantastic place with loads of history. Would definitely recommend it for people who wish to have a peaceful, easy going and relaxing holiday! Ideal for couples and families. Some of the restaurants could use an upgrade on the menu. Traditional greek food has a lot more to offer than the standard menu most restaurants offer in the island.Guest review byEpistemeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Nice quiet location, close to nearby markets and a very good souvlaki / gyros place - very tasty and very good value. If you like walking, Milia beach is not far and Spartines is perfect on a calm day. In Patitiri the restaurant we liked most was Bacco. This is authentic Italian with beautiful pasta and pizza, prepared by the very pleasant Italian who provides a good range of beautiful Italian wines at modest prices- wines that have been well cared for despite the heat of summer. A wonderful place to relax and dine. A good range of imported fine Italian ingredients ranging from a pasta to wine and cheeses can be bought from this restaurant.Guest review byChristopher - 10.0

Steni Vala is a small fishing village, now used by yachts over night. There are lots of excellent taverns. Most offer accommodation. You can spend time just people watching. Eat and drink talking to the locals who are very friendly, some are famous. There is a dive centre and water activity’s. Beaches are Peebles.Guest review bySaraGreece - 8.0

The bay is a little off the beaten track, so a car, scooter or a longish and steep walk is needed. There are coastal walks you can take to move to beaches further north. There are a couple of bars next to the Milia beach, with umbrellas and beds on the beach., although there is also plenty of free beach either side of this.Guest review byNeilItaly - 10.0

Quiet bay with small sand and pebble beach, water is calm and great for swimming and snorkelling. A few houses and apartments around bay, 5-10 minute walk to Steni Vala on a good path, however path is rough for pulling a case if arrive by bus.Guest review byJoanneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Alonnisos and Patitiri is one of our favorite islands in Greece. This is the fourth time we have visited the island and there will be another visit next year. Here, life still goes smoothly, little stress, not overcrowded with tourists. And then they have the "best" Greek restaurant "OSTRIA" we have experienced in our 29 years of holidays in Greece. If you like seafood, try the unique mussel dish they have... superb!Guest review bySmall4estNorway - 8.0
We loved the old town and the beaches were gorgeous.
We loved the old town and the beaches were gorgeous. The amazing smell of the wild fig trees was amazing as you drove around the island. We were only disappointed with the port town of Patitri which was a bit rundown. We felt 2 nights in Alonnisos is perfect. Stay in old town and there are a couple of great restaurants and an amazing piano bar for after dinner - so fun. Great spots to sit and have drinks in the center as well.Guest review byJillUnited States - 10.0

We didn't have a car so it was easy to be there in the evening and use the restaurants there. Two local supermarkets too. We found a path to Patatiri which we could walk in 20 minutes (but not with a suitcase). Also a local beach & others you could walk toGuest review byJudy FUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Middle to end of May was so very quiet and peaceful, you need car to get around to the many beaches and fishing ports, Old Town and wonderful restaurants. It was a little cold at the start of our trip 21st May and we needed a fleece for the evenings. The sea was fresh, but warmed up towards the end of May. If you want quiet, peace and relaxation a great place to visit in early or late season. If you want a little more then visit July / August where it is much warmer, the bars are open and it much busier, with sunbeds on the beach and music in many bars on the beach. If you want to enjoy some Spa Treatments, Lunch, Cocktails, then visit Infinity 180 / The Amani 180 - need to book. This is a family business and Sharon, Mark, Luke and Ewa will make you very WelcomeGuest review byChristineUnited Kingdom
