We were absolutely thrilled with our stay here! The staff were extremely accommodating, the rooms were beautiful and clean. We would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Nafplio. It’s fantastic because it looks over the entire old town and harbour - views that are really limited in this area. So we were very very impressed!

This small hotel was wonderful. It is located at the end of the road, but only a short 15 minute walk to the historic center. The room is spacious and modern in design, with all amenities working well. Front Desk staff offered a warm welcome, and the team serving my "to order" breakfasts were warm and like old friends. A large private deck allowed me to see the beautiful mountains, castle on the mountain, and view of the sea and old town.

We were warmly greeted by co- owner Panagiota and her assistant Elena on our Saturday evening arrival after some difficulty in finding parking on this busiest night in Nafplio. Assistance was given in retrieving our luggage and we were referred to an excellent nearby restaurant, Alaloum. Our spacious suite with balcony was perfect for a relaxed 5 day stay in this recently renovated historic building facing the older Aetoma Hotel ( also owned by Panagiota and her son Akis) across the square. . Breakfasts were superb and so complete that we rarely needed lunch. The location was excellent for walking the beautiful town. Co-owner Akis was very helpful in guiding us to areas of interest in the region Other than the initial difficulty caused by limited parking in the town on a Saturday night, everything else was perfect during our stay.

    Everything. All of the staff members there were fantastic and always made us feel welcome. The buffet breakfast is insanely amazing. A true highlight. Special thank you to the amazing barista. She made the best coffees we have had in Greece so far. Extremely fresh juices every day and amazing selection of hot and cold breakfast foods. The rooms are fantastic. Cant fault them at all. Small hiccup with the air-conditioning not working but was immediately offered another room. It was truly a great experience all around and would 100% return for another stay. The pool and beach service is also beyond expectations. Ice cold water buckets as soon as you sit down and amazing food/drink service straight to you. The beds are beyond comfortable. Everything about the beds are 10/10.

    On the day we arrived we asked for room service and they informed us that they were serving until 4pm however since we arrived late they were going to assist us by serving us what was easy for the kitchen to make during after hours!! Also there was no kettle in the room and when we asked if possible to have one to make baby’s bottle milk they immediately provide us one! Very friendly and polite staff, clean and nice rooms, definitely recommend it!!

    Near the city center, great view to the castel from our balcony at the 3rd flour. Very nice and helpful staff, we received help with our language in our last day (as we stayed a little longer after our check out) and also with a charger for the phone. Very clean, big comfy bed with good sheets set. We enjoyed our stay 😌

    Very touristy in peak season, much more so than any other...

    Very touristy in peak season, much more so than any other town we visited outside of Athens, It was filled with souvenir shops, clothes shops, tavernas, and ice cream shops, and difficult to find much else in between. For people who like the ease of having everything on your doorstep and being able to slowly meander along pretty shopping streets, it would be great. It is very easy to get around; a relatively compact town. The large parking area at the port can accommodate hundreds of cars so there was never any worry about not finding a space. There's a nice beach a short drive away (Karathona) and the city beach is fine if you don't have a car, albeit quite crowded. It was worth the climb up to the Palamidi fortress, for the views, but there are better days out all around: Mycenae, Corinth, and Epidaurus were all brilliant trips. Nafplio is a good base for exploring the eastern Peloponnese in general. Antica Gelateria di Roma is the most popular ice cream shop, and was very good, but we enjoyed all the others too. Aiolos was our favourite taverna.

    Where the Argolic Gulf meets the gentle hills of the Peloponnese, the village of Tolo stretches along a golden curve of sand, kissed by the glittering sea. Once a quiet fishing harbor, today it welcomes travelers who come in search of clear waters, leisurely afternoons, and sunsets that paint the horizon in shades of rose and gold.     Perfect place for holidays and relaxing! At all shops we were visited the staff were polite and friendly! Food was amazing and affordable prices. All beaches were close and very clean waters! Highly recommended!

    Epidavros was well worth a visit.

    Epidavros was well worth a visit. We only went there because that's where our accommodation was but we were so glad once we arrived. There's plenty to do in the area, not only locally with the Ancient Theatre, lovely harbour and restaurants, kayaking tour including the sunken city, but also a little bit further afield with visits to Nafpoli and Ermioni.

    We had two rooms and the air conditioning in one room didn't work and although we complained early in the day, it was not fixed. Unbearably hot and no sleep. Beautiful facilities but service isn't at the level one would expect of a five star resort.

    Ermioni was quiet when we visited (mid september) which we really enjoyed. It is walkable and beautiful swimming spots from rocks are close by. It seems like a great place for relaxing, swimming and enjoying delcious food.

    A really pleasant working town, not dominated by tourists but getting on with its own life. A good restaurant on the main square and a small ironmongers to die for as well as interesting buildings such as the market hall. Don’t do it up so much that it looses its character.

    The Archaeological site of Mycenae was on our "bucket list". Impressive site in a stunning hilly backdrop. Easy parking. Stones are slippery so wear correct footwear. Not for very elderly or disabled people as the site is on a hill. Best place to eat is La Petite Planete just up the road from the site.

    We were meeting my parents in Greece and were looking at which islands to go to for a few nights. Couldn't really decide and it was all getting a but expensive with the ferry. We then decided to go to the coast and picked Nafplio. I am really glad we did, Nafplio is a beautiful coastal town with a lovely town centre which is mostly pedestrianised. There is a nice little public beach in town but there are also some absolutely beautiful beaches within a 15 minute drive. I would absolutely recommend you make some time to come here.
