- From £278.32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 344 reviewsVery classy place for 4 days! Lovely staff- always helpful & polite to us & to each other! The location was central and easy to access with luggage. We had room 102 which had a lovely balcony and a drying rack for swimwear etc.. the bedlinen, towels and bathroom toiletries were very high spec - lovely furniture and very homely. Air-con was quiet , very efficient (& needed). Breakfast was served in a beautiful courtyard with a magnificent tree. It was served each day by a busy & wonderful lady - plenty of variety and lovely fresh orange juice, fruit, veg and cooked food. Very relaxing & wonder spot to maximise your Hydra stay.Guest review byEnaIreland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 365 reviewsReally beautiful island. Great location close enough to city centre. The staff was really friendly from the reception to the cleaning lady. They all had a smile for you at any given time you need to adress them. They kept our bags before the check in and after the check out. Great tables to relax on the patio, we actually had dinner there. Great small rooms with all the essentials. Windows can be tricky, ours was overlooking reception but the other room basically opened up to a small private patio and some trees. It was great never t less. Would recommend to anyone. Clean and comfy.Guest review byJoaoIreland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 953 reviewsLiked everything about the Angelica! Customer service was amazing, friendly, helpful & very informative. Beautiful, comfortable traditional room with fabulous large deck. Location beautiful, peaceful, lovely hillside views & only a short walk up from the port. Courtyard area for breakfast or just relaxing in during the day. Breakfast very good in general but would have liked the addition of fruit to have with cereal & yoghurt.Guest review byWendyNew Zealand
- From £368.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 160 reviewsThis hotel is an institution, an old sponge factory turned into a hotel. No wonder it won a European Heritage Award 20 years ago. Some may judge some of the rooms a bit small or rudimentary, but that is part of the Bratsera adventure. I come here if there’s availability on all my Hydra visits. Friendly and competent staff. Excellent bteakfasts.Guest review byJimmyBelgium

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 263 reviewsIppokampos is a charming hotel with a vintage feel. The rooms were very comfortable and so were the beds. And as Hydra is a steep hillside little island, coming off the ferry and getting to the hotel was a short flat walk, not far at all. We loved our stay there. :)Guest review byBelindaUnited States

Hydra was my favorite stop in Greece.
Hydra was my favorite stop in Greece. Lovely little island, no cars, lots of art, cute unique boutiques, easy access to interesting sites… not too much touristy junk. Food was delicious and affordable.Guest review bySamUnited States - 10.0

Mandraki was a hidden gem of a place, only a 20-minute walk along the coast from Hydra Town, but away from all the hustle and bustle and with its own little beach and taverna - everything you could possibly need for a deeply relaxing holiday.Guest review byTanyaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Hydra was very busy when we arrived - then we realised a cruise ship had docked and there were thousands on shore. however, they went as fast as they arrived which was great. The food and drink is generally very well priced but the clothes shops etc are VERY expensive - aimed that cruise ship guests i guess.Guest review byLiamUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Hydra was wonderful and no cars!
Hydra was wonderful and no cars! Get info on all the beaches and boat ferries before you go as it can get expensive. Food was great ,souvenir store were overpriced. We went for 2 nights, 3nights would have been perfect. Book July or September , avoid August by all means, all the locals go on vacation and it gets over crowded . August is also high season and priced almost double. Comfortable foot ware a must. You will love the island. Bought our drinks and sat on the bench one night on the cliff watching the waves and sunset.Guest review bymaria
