From the moment you park infront of the hotel door till your last minute saying goodbye to the staff, it is an impeccable experience. The staff are the warmest, most helpful and genuine I have seen in a long, long time. Alexandra, Stevie, Nina, spiros, kostas and one more guy which I unfortunately forgot his name, they were incredible incredible INCREDIBLE. Always smiling, always checking in with us how our days went and recommending when we needed help. We wanted to charter a yacht for a day and do many beach stops and they had the perfect, most professional options. We had a wonderful stay at canale. Also not to forget, the rooms are very well done and kept, everything is tastefully done. The touches of Bvlgari, evian and a range rover to drop you off or pick you up anywhere in Argostoli were a really nice touch from the management. The jacuzzi in the room is clean and new also. The waterfall pressure of showers are AMAZING. Location is perfect. I could go on and on 😊 σε ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ

Loved this place, they went above and beyond to make a special holiday even more special. Arranged a bottle on arrival. 2 private gazebos for a candle lit dinner and upgraded our room for our engagement. Happy to say it was a success! Location was so close to the airport. Easy to park the hire car and secure. Private beach, buffet breakfast and amazing staff.

We have just returned home from a wonderful holiday in Skala Kefalonia. Our stay in the Paspalis Hotel was excellent we would all definitely book to stay again. Lovely friendly Taverna for breakfast and all the meals we had there in the evening were very good. Close to the beach and a pleasant walk into the village.

All the staff, the owners and their family, simply everyone, thanks to their warmth and excellent service, make this hotel a place where you feel at home and enjoy life, all in a stunningly beautiful spot. Fortunately, the bay is sparsely developed, and nature takes precedence. We felt like we were visiting loving friends. It was quiet, clean, and lived up to all the stars, from breakfast to the evening cocktail at the bar. We slept so well in this oasis of peace. We would come back anytime.     The sea is just 1 meter from the hotel, clean room, clean and warm sea water, bus station 7 minutes by foot. Very nice personal. Usually we stayed a day in the hotel (because it has all wee need: air-conditioner, breakfast/dinner, sea 1 meter away from the hotel, pay-free sunbeds + umbrella, etc ) and the next day we travelled around the island or took a trip to another island.

    Both the place and the people are amazing. In our time of need the staff did everything they could to help us, while our car was broken down we were able to book another night and at our every request they were right there.     The hotel is in a perfect location, with its own beach, there are shops, and restaurants nearby. Staff was really helpful, and nice, as we arrived a bit before the check-in time, but as soon as the room was cleaned we could get into it. Until then, we could have a rest next to the pool. We chose breakfast option, which was very good, but too much for me :D

    Located just above the beach, as we were in the Summer Villa, we had the most amazing view in the front! Convenient with 2 bedrooms(in room bathroom in both)… just exactly enough for a family of 4. Zoe was really nice, so as the cleaning lady. Restaurants nearby, but we had a car rented that made it more comfortable. Thank you!

    Attractive shopping areas, within easy distance of where we were staying. Interesting museums, although a pity that the main archaeological museum was in process of rebuilding. One or two good traditional Greek taverna style eating places in the centre and on harbour front.

    Lixouri itself, it's a vibrant little town with plenty of restaurants and cafe's most of them by the sea front at a reasonable price were you can enjoy a drink or dinner whilst looking at the blue sea and clear skies. (If you like that sort of thing as I do)!

    Lots of choice of bars and restaurants all manned by super friendly staff and food was excellent. Everything was close together along with some restaurants overlooking the lovely Sandy beach which stretched for miles. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and had several day trips out exploring everything this beautiful island had to offer. Would definitely recommend a visit.

    Not posh or pretentious.

    Not posh or pretentious. Good for a relaxing holiday rather than a one with wild nightlife or prestigious restaurants or exclusive beach clubs. Seemed safe. Most people would go into Argostoli during there trip rather than just stay in Lassi all the time, as it is larger and has many more shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. Taxis between Lassi and Argostoli are not very expensive.

    Sami was a great place to stay!

    Sami was a great place to stay! We had 4 nights and wanted to stay longer. Very nice little town, we stayed in a great hotel, near a lovely little beach, great promenade and just enough restaurants and shops. You could go for day trips to other beaches, caves and to Ithaka, hire a boat or just stay and relax!

    Lovely village.

    Lovely village. It's a popular yachting harbour and I think this makes it a bit more expensive than the rest of the island. We swam at Fiko bay which is about a kilometre from where we were staying. Nice and reasonably priced taverna here, though you need to book for the evening.

    A scruffy run down port area.

    A scruffy run down port area. Lots of closed nearly derelict buildings. No wonder the taverna owners don’t have much enthusiasm as it’s a dying duck, Water looked minging so we didn’t even bother going in the sea. Beach dirty and covered in rubbish and seaweed. Remetzos bar was quirky and the only restaurant worth going to Otzibars.

    I made a lot of research before choosing where to stay in Kefalonia. I think it it the best location. the distances to the main beaches are short. it is absolutely amazing the entire island. family and pet friendly. amazing small beaches as well. good food.

    Lovely quiet area, but with ameneties such as supermarkets, restaurants right on your doorstep. No Clubs/Bars etc, banging out kiddie music 24/7 (which is what I call rave/house music....that same beat to every song!!,...... every 'song' sounds the same??....Sh*t!!) OK...Yeah if you (unfortunately) like that kind of thing.....go to Ibiza, Benidorm or Magaluf!!. Lourdhata is the kind of place where you go to unwind & chill out (out of the rat-race). At night you can't even hear a pin drop.....brilliant.

    Svoronata is a beautiful destination near to the airport.

    Svoronata is a beautiful destination near to the airport. There are lots of stunning beaches to visit and an abundance of quality tavernas to visit - we particularly enjoyed Esperides which is set in an orange grove. We also enjoyed the lively La Calma for food and drinks and Milos for fabulous sunset views and delicious seafood. We found lots of local supermarkets for supplies and the greek people were so welcoming and friendly.
