- From US$675.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 2,579 reviewsMy inspiration bubbles from my curiosity and love of travel. I observe the world around me, look for new perspectives and get inspired by the unspoken truths and important insights I discover. It is a constant process of discovery and experimentation that brings my designs to life. When I visited Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, I was literally enchanted by the beauty of Istria and the inspiring atmosphere of Cap Aureo Signature Restaurant under the direction of Zelijko Lozancic and JJV, at Lurel & Berry Restaurant especially under the direction of Andreija Jelavic, and at Viva Eufemia Lobby Bar by Lovro Brozd. Always a smile and a kind word on the lips a young chambermaid from Asia. The mixture of breathtaking nature, cultural diversity and culinary delights makes Rovinj a true paradise of inspiration for me.Guest review bySinaItaly
- From US$283.26 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 5,362 reviewsExcellent location, short walking distance to Piran and Portoroz with all restaurants and attractions nearby. Hotel located just at the sea. I’m think it’s the best hotel for the sea holiday in whole Portoroz-Piran area. All other hotels are at least across the road, but this one is straight at the sea. If you take sea view room you won’t regret. View is really great and cost it’s money for sure. Absolutely stunning spa zone with many pools of different size, shape and purpose. Few big pools for swimming and one small for toddlers, separate pool with waterslides are real gem for kids. Breakfasts was good, big choice and all was tasty. Very nice impression overall and great holiday time at this hotelGuest review byDmytroCzech Republic
- From US$389.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 4,137 reviewsThe breakfast is 10/10 and has everything that you want/need. The attention to details in every aspect is above the roof. Bathroom and the room are very spacious and has everything that you need, always clean. The terrace is enormous and we enjoyed it a lot. The beach we did not use since we were staying in April, but instead we walked around the hotel and city. Near the hotel there is park that has very nice paths and nature, very good for relaxing and filling your batteries. Staff is very helpful and nice and big kudos for the pet friendly environment, absolutely loved it!Guest review byAnaNorth Macedonia

I’m really considering going back in the future.Guest review byClinzItaly

Stunning place to visit particularly for History lovers.
Stunning place to visit particularly for History lovers. So many little sights like diocletians palace, Gregor of Nin statue, Bell tower etc. Even though touristy felt safe throughout and the night life was alive. I would recommend doing the island tour from Split to see places like Vis and HvarGuest review byGaryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Dubrovnik is a wonderful place to visit, lots of interesting places to see in and around the City. The old Town itself was beautiful with the city walls surrounding the city so the views all around were amazing. I would definitely recommend people to visit. We ate in several of the restaurants in the town from Pizza to Pasta, mexican and local food, we did the Game of Thrones walking tour and also visited the Panorama restaurant on top of the hill via the cable car. Again this is worth a visit, just to see all the views. Also visited the island of Lokrum by boat which was worth a visit. All in all a fantastic holiday. Take comfortable shoes as lots of walking.Guest review byEloiseUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I stayed in Zadar Old Town and enjoyed every minute. Lots of cultural attractions and the possibility for boat trips. Highly important for me as well, that as a lone female non-white traveller I always felt safe and comfortable walking around by myself even in the early hours of the morning.Guest review byKellyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

ChatGPT said: What I like most about Budva is the way it blends the charm of history with the vibrancy of the Adriatic coast. Walking through the narrow cobblestone streets of the Old Town feels like stepping back in time, with its stone houses, hidden courtyards, and centuries-old churches exuding a timeless character. Yet just beyond the ancient walls, the lively beaches and waterfront promenade create an entirely different energy—filled with the scent of the sea, the sound of music drifting from cafés, and the hum of people enjoying the warm Montenegrin sun. It’s this unique contrast—where tradition and modern life meet against a backdrop of turquoise waters and rugged mountains—that makes Budva feel endlessly captivating.Guest review byshenajKosovo - 10.0

Durres is a city of contrast from the Roman ampitheater to the beach, pool and shopping. Tasting the fresh fish from one of the seafront restaurants is a must but make sure you also fill up on byrek and sufflaqe! Pelikan has lots of amazing cakes for sweet treats, Tropikal resort has an amazing pool you can use for the day (1000leke) and the market is a hidden gem for bargains. The bus from the beach at Plepa along to the city Center gets VERY busy but for 40leke saves the stress of driving and trying to park and everywhere is then just a short walk. We love Durres and will be back.Guest review byLucieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Pula is a very nice place with friendly people.
Pula is a very nice place with friendly people. We really, really enjoyed it! The restaurants were great, and there was so much to see and learn. I would recommend a minimum stay of 7 days to fully experience everything the city and surrounding area have to offer.Guest review byChesronNetherlands - 10.0
Very nice city, with wonderful old town and nice beaches.
Very nice city, with wonderful old town and nice beaches. The restaurants are good as well, and anybody can find something to pass the time. The nightlife is very active, there are many oppurtinites to have a party. Who is looking for a more quiet holiday, they should consider book their aparment away from the city center. The beaches are good but sometimes overcrowded. If you plan to visit other places in Istria, Porec is a good "home base". Everything is 50-70km away.Guest review byÁdámHungary - 10.0
We were there for 4 nights so basically had 3 days to visit.
We were there for 4 nights so basically had 3 days to visit. Free historical tour and craft tour are available and steps away from the studio. These walking tours give you an opportunity to visit the many alleyways of shops as well as give you the background of the culture and politics. Restaurants are numerous and food is good. Smoking is heavy on the outdoor dining so non-smokers must sit inside. Farmers market is a couple of blocks up the street along with the fish market. Bring a bag. A lot of things are paid in cash. Local wine is a hit and a miss. Golf carts are available to take you around for less than a taxi.Guest review byAwesomeManUSUnited States - 10.0
Kotor is a beautiful town in a great location engage in lots...
Kotor is a beautiful town in a great location engage in lots of different activities. We particularly enjoyed the cable car and a boat ride but there is lots to see and do. We had a car so we could travel a bit in the area. The coast drive to Tivat is lovely and we enjoyed some time in Tivat. A word of warning. Traffic jams are an issue. Driving through Kotor can be painstakingly slow. As I write, August 2025, there are major roadworks between Tivat and Budva, which is about 25k. We took an hour and a half from Kotor to Budva and two and a half to return. We moved from Kotor to Virpazar and chose to come over the mountain on the Serpentine. Fab views, tricky enough hairpin bends. We did get caught at a bend where 2 buses met and failed to pass each other. Took about 20 minutes to sort out with about 30 cars having to reverse a couple of hundred yards. Interesting driving! In general we are loving Montenegro. Safe, welcoming and gorgeous.Guest review byCotterIreland - 10.0

Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find everything you need just in few steps. Big grocery store just next to the bus station, big outdoor market place, fish market, promedande, countless number of restaurants, public transport and several beaches. The only downside is that during the peak season it is really crowded.Guest review byEvaSlovakia
