Crikvenica is the biggest beach resort town in the Kvarner region, with a choice of pebble, sandy or concrete beaches. There are a lot of facilities along the beaches - bars, restaurants, child amusement etc. There is also a problem - the city is overcrowded in the summer. A dense traffic, lack of space on the beaches, lack of parking spaces. There are comfortable beaches, excellent food, great ice cream, and a pleasant evening atmosphere. For those looking for a more vibrant or lively nightlife, the nearby town of Crikvenica is just a longer walk or short drive away. Another great advantage of Selce is its location — it’s close to other interesting destinations, such as the town of Krk on the island of Krk. You can also take boat trips directly from Selce, which is a great option for families with children. No sandy beaches are available in Dramalj.
No sandy beaches are available in Dramalj. All beaches are rocky with some concreate structures enabling sunbathing. Definitely bring water shoes and joga mats if you wish to sunbath there. Evening activities are great in central Crikvenica right at the port entrance. Find some apartment that is really close to the water, otherwise the hill to climb back to your apartment is very steep. "Havišće beach" (13 minutes by walk) is suitable also for...
"Havišće beach" (13 minutes by walk) is suitable also for small children because of gradual bank. "Vodna beach" (5 minutes by walk) has steep bank with a concrete jetty and therefore is suitable only for people who are able to swim and prefer to swim directly from the shore without walking in shallow sea. On both beaches was warm water and there was only very few people, mostly local people and tourists from nearest apartments. On "Grabrova beach" (3 km by car) you can buy very tasty ice cream, but there was a lot of people and it has a cold water (because of cold springs).Guest review byMartinCzech Republic - 10.0

City is beautiful with many sand beaches. Its marked as "city for kids" so it has a lof of playgrounds for kids. Overall, everything is amazing. There is a place to walk whole afternoon and spend time on beach. You have everything that you need for vacation: sports, bars, food is amazing, sand beaches, parking spots, also boat trips etc. And yet, its not stack packed with people, so you can enjoy your time with kids there.Guest review byBranislavSerbia - 10.0

A charming little town. Its center is located on the coast, with supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, and cafés nearby. There are various types of beaches (concrete, rocky, small pebbles) along the promenade. The upper streets are easily accessible by car, and there are many one-way streets near the sea. I arrived in Jadranovo and stayed at the Apartment Lopac...
I arrived in Jadranovo and stayed at the Apartment Lopac which was excellent,thus i extended my time here. I had to Look for another Apartment because the one i staved in was booked. I found another lovely Apartment which was run by the Tourist Information Centar of Jadranovo. When we got to their Office they told us the Apartment we wanted Was double booked and they would take care of another one. Weve got a new Apartment but it was Not even close to the one we booked. After we entered the Apartment we saw the messy Situation and Decided to Look for another accomodation, which we then found. We informed the Tourist Information Center that we are Not happy with the Stay but we would pay for the first Night and a cleaning Fee. The Tourist Information Center was beyound rude and was gaslighting us and said we can cancel over Booking, which meant nö refund at all! No we are here in a disgusting Accomodation with no way out. Beautiful place.
Beautiful place. It felt like a small town with everything you need. People are so friendly. I loved the shops, restaurants and activities during the evening. We were with our dog and five years old daughter. There were lots of options of kids as well. Food was very tasty, but not "very cheap" was I heard a lot from my colleagues in Munich. A really nice place.
A really nice place. Once a fishers' village, most probably, still has its traditional old-town structure, but attractively built out to receive guests. Good restaurants, coffee houses, nice seaside walking alley, good-looking residential buildings and mediterranean gardens. With some small-distance excursions to Crikvenica, Novi Vinodolski and Senj, it is well worth a week of stay even for those who do not want to spend all their time on the beach.
