- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 5 reviewsAntonella was waiting for us at the properties and showed us around, explaining all the features. The properties were beautifully decorated, in an amazing location right at the waterfront. Antonella and Nina were incredibly welcoming hosts. Nina even baked a traditional Croatian cake for us. We felt very spoilt and well cared for. Antonella even organised a water and land taxi to take us to our next destination. Thank you, both, for a wonderful holiday. We will be back!Guest review bySchubertAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 108 reviewsExtremely attentive and friendly staff that made sure we were comfortable from the moment we stepped foot on the island. The hotel is right on the beach and I loved watching the sunrise from my room, then having breakfast every day right by the sea. The amenities are new and clean, breakfast is varied and tasty. Thanks to Mario, Katarina and Darko (among others) we spent a wonderful vacation and cannot wait to go back.Guest review byDinaSwitzerland

Absolutely beautiful setting complemented by kind and attentive staff who really made us feel at home. The island itself has stunning views and lovely beaches (also with shade/ child friendly options). Kalamota staff went the extra mile and we wish we could return!Guest review byMelissaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We went in June at stayed in Gornje Celo was was lovely and peaceful, there was bar nearby and a restaurant, the only problem being that the restaurant was only open at lunchtime (this changes 1st July) which meant we had to walk to Donje Celo where there is a really nice restaurant (Konoba Stari Miri) on the waters edge with great sunsets. The main ferry terminal and island only food shop are also located here it is about 23mins walk from one village to the next. There is a local ferry that goes from Dubrovnik to Gornje Celo but you will need to check with host as the timings are not obvious. The shop on island has most essentials but is only open certain times, probably best to stock up on mainland. There are no cars on the island so it is very peaceful. Ferry to Dubrovnik is reasonably priced and easily booked online. Good base to visit Dubrovnik.Guest review byBrianUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We stayed in the island for 6 days, which was really great since we were with kids and they enjoyed Sandy beaches. Other tif you travel without kids I think it might seem too longue for this island (if you like active holidays !)Guest review byVictoria AngerFrance
