Rooms are beautiful, updated and spacious. Breakfast was included in our package and there was more than plenty of different foods to choose from. Cold cereals, yogurts, assorted buns, croissants, sliced bread for toast, jams, fresh honey, selection of sliced meats and cheese, boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, sautéed vegetables, freshly sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, assorted fruits… and if that’s not enough, you can order scrambled eggs, fried eggs, omelettes or waffles once you’re seated. Staff is super friendly and helpful, reception staff speaks several languages so no problems for communication. For our first week, we stayed in the ‘attic’ room overlooking the ocean because it was the only room available at the time and we were not sure what to expect, but the room was great, view was awesome, even with no balcony. The window spans from wall to wall and even opens!
No regrets. For our second week, we booked a superior room with a balcony and sea view, breakfast included. This hotel has a great lunch and dinner menu with top rated chef and cooking staff. Food has been delicious. Just to note, the cleaning staff is excellent and if you need any extras they bring it to you quickly. We had free parking available at this hotel. There are a few more hotels in this vicinity, but this hotel cannot be beat.

The hotel has the best possible location with a beach across the street. Somehow, the beach looks much better than few years ago, and it's easy to get into the sea without slipping on the rocks like previous years. Breakfast is very good; there is variety of food to everyone's liking. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are kept clean and neat. All servers remembered our drinks and would bring them immediately after we sit at the table. I specially enjoyed dinners; big portions, creative and delicious meals.
The staff was very pleasant and cordial, upon arrival at the reception they changed the room that looked at Biokovo mountain to a room that looked at the sea. Breakfast was exceptionally good. I especially liked the American pancakes that are baked on the spot.
The owner is a very nice person, provided a lot of information about the city, the room is clean and has everything you need, and the view from the balcony is simply beautiful, thank you for a good vacation.
Team on site were all extremely welcoming and friendly. Special shout out to the cleaning team who made sure our room was sparkling everyday. Facilities were lovely and location is excellent.

Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September.
Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September. July and August is very hot and a lot off tourists on the beach, and on the streets. A lot of traffic, problem to find parking place.
We only walk and stay overnight in Makarska center.

For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.

Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom even when it’s deep. The water is so clean it’s almost unreal, like swimming in a giant natural pool. If you love pristine beaches and amazing water quality, this place is absolutely worth it.
The only downsides are that getting into the water can be a bit tricky since it’s rocky rather than sandy beaches. Also, the supermarkets have very limited options - even the biggest one doesn’t have much variety if you’re planning to cook during your stay.

Makarska Riviera is a beautiful destination.
Makarska Riviera is a beautiful destination. Croatian government removed the tool boot fee from the Saint Ilija tunnel and travelers can shorten their travel into the mountains and back significantly and save some money.
You have different restaurants so you can pick what you like the most. It is easy to navigate around Tucepi and visit other spots. Sport activities are heavily affected by heat but you always have the swimming and other activities, like boating, parachute gliding and such. You can always buy fresh fruit from the locals that stop right at the beach.

I had a fantastic stay at Medora Auri Family Beach Resort. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the room was modern and comfortable, and everything was well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling – they really made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is perfect, right by the beach with beautiful views. The food was delicious with a great variety at breakfast and dinner. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable.

Gradac has a beautiful beach.
Gradac has a beautiful beach. It is probably few kilometers long, and the old trees leaning over the beach create a rich shade throughout the day. In the morning, we walked along the beach all the way to the end of the trail by the sea. At night, we enjoyed our long walks through the town. The entire place is very bright and lively. Restaurants and cafes look like luxurious places from the fancy magazines. Gradac is definitely a great place everyone should visit in summer.

After the season (end of September) there is not much going on there. Many places are already closed - restaurants and shops. Parking is difficult in the area, and at the same time you can't get around without a car. A plus is a large store - Plodine.

It was a lovely quiet sleepy little coastal village that you need a car to get to -pretty strip of pebble beach with clear water.
The roads are very narrow in places and very steep. Once you turn off to Igrane best to use your common sense and stick to wider roads where possible and not take Sat Nav too literally. Lovely church to walk to (up hill!)
Mainly couples, older people , not so great for families with children, or those seeking night life-not suitable for those with severe mobility issues.
(There is a more lively and child friendly coastal resort 15 mins drive away with a variety of shops,beach activities etc)
Good base for visiting Dubrovnik (2hrs drive)and Split (1.5hrs)
The coastal road is very hilly with many z bends! and the locals don't appear to stick to the speed limits!

As we stayed in Drvenik in October ( 15. To 18.), the place was very quiet, hardly any other tourists and we were the only ones in our apartment block. We like this but others might find it too slow as there were practically no Restaurants open. One can see paddle boats, chairs and beach umbrellas all packed up for winter. The ocean is very clean and so is the beach. There are walking tracks leading North or South along the coast and it is a 2 hr drive from Dubrovnik ( check the Cruise ship schedule before you go, we came on a day with 4 of these ships visiting and thousands of tourists choking the town). If you are after action and excitement, this is not the place for you. The Car Ferry comes and goes at least 5 times a day, it is not very loud but can all be seen very close from the balcony.
