- From £257.83 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 534 reviewsMy 10 points for all as it’s a really wonderful hotel! All was perfect, starting with hospitable check-in, accompanied with a glass of Prosecco, provided by charming Paola, continuing complimentary chocolates in the room and ending the general positive impressions from the Amadria and its services. We arrived really early (11 a.m.) but were given a nice corner room with a sea and patio view, equipped all necessary things (a cattle, free water, tea, coffee, robes for going to beach etc.)The hotel is the only one in Opatija with separate access to the sea. Swimming was very comfortable, deck chairs were convenient, we really enjoyed relaxing! The staff was very positive and helpful, thanks to Paola for early check-in and Anna-Marija for help in reserving a table at “Bevanda”. And special thanks for the souvenir after check-out! We will definitely come again!Guest review byGalynaUkraine
- From £144.93 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 948 reviewsAlmoust three weeks we were in hotel Mediteran and everything was perfect. Clean sevice, staff, information, best see view etc. Breakfasts were very varied. There were over 40 types of food to choose from. Hot meals, chilled hams and cheeses., salads, sweet pastries, yogurts, muesli, baguettes, cakes, etc. There was a choice of juices, teas, coffee and champagne. We had a wedding planned in the port in front of the hotel, where over 60 friends arrived and everyone was completely satisfied. Every place was close from the hotel - beach, restaurants, walks along the coast, childrens playground etc. Most of all we want to thank Marko ( hotel manager ), Alen ( kitchen manager ) atd Lili ( hotel staff ). Already today, we are planning to return to Moscenicko Drago with the whole family. I can recommend Hotel Mediteran 100%.Guest review byJanCzech Republic

The rooms are comfortable. Excellent swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Wonderful breakfast, the waiter was very attentive and the quality of the food and drinks was impressive. The reception staff were also friendly and attentive and a highlight was the employee Tihana who prepared an itinerary for our visit to Rijeka.Guest review bySergioBrazil
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 2,177 reviewsVery nicely renovated 1906 Building with high ceilings throughout. The old grandeur is definitely alive and well here. The architects of the extensive recent renovation have resisted squeezing in more rooms and extra floors keeping the rooms very spacious. Public parking is 50 meters away. The sea view is truly unobstructed from the higher floors.Guest review byMichaelItaly

I couldn’t find much information on Opatija before visiting.
I couldn’t find much information on Opatija before visiting. As we arrived, driving the stunning coastal road from Pula, we could see that this is a beautiful stretch of coast. Hotel Milenij, where we stayed. Is located in the old part of Opatija, right by the sea; and there is quite a lot of public beach (concrete bathing areas, but great for swimming) and it is nice that everyone can use this and there is no charge. The view from Opatija is out to islands and around the curve of the bay, with mountains in the background - it is very pretty. In Opatija (around the old town, anyway), people dress up in the evening and there is a great buzz on summer evenings. There are plenty of good restaurants, some right by the sea. We didn’t get to do a boat trip to the nearby islands, but I would have liked to. There are lots of boat trips available and you can book them at the sea front. It looks like Opatija now stretches much further along the coast - this is great in that there is a 12km long lungomare for seaside walks. However, I am glad we stayed in the old part of Opatija to enjoy the town and its buzz as well as a very nice hotel with a pool and access to the sea.Guest review bySarahUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Small town with a wonderful little OldTown part.
Small town with a wonderful little OldTown part. I especially like that there is not too many tourists and that you can both enjoy the town beach just as the wild rocky beaches where you have more privacy! I would recommend Lovranski Pub and Delfino for GREAT meal! The walk road by the see - LungoMare give you a huge pleasure by the sea from Lovran to Volosko! The sea is clean and wonderful.Guest review byAleksandraSerbia - 10.0

We visited Mošćenička Draga three times during our trip — once to relax on the beautiful beach and twice in the evening to enjoy dinner by the sea. The location is stunning, the atmosphere is wonderful, and parking is easy, which makes visiting stress-freeGuest review byTimmaz73Malta - 8.0

It's a cozy place but there is nothing much to do. Almost all accommodations are in the hills and everything important like markets, coffee shops, restaurants etc are close to the sea, so be ready to use the car or hiking ;)Guest review byLuciaSlovakia - 10.0

Very close distance to the beaches and to Opatia , Rijeka, Pula, local LIDL supermarket, Plodine supermarket also too close , bakeries which provides fresh burek, fresh pizzas, fresh bread and freshly made cakes especially Trileçe, restaurants and coffee bars, lovely food. The beautiful nature and the lovely plants around especially oleanders 😃 also very clean streets !Guest review byQamileUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A quiet and authentic village of Croatia in the region.
A quiet and authentic village of Croatia in the region. Narrow streets, clean and cozy place. Less than two hundred inhabitants live there. You can discover it in an hour, but you will fall in love with it immediately. There is a shop and a restaurant in the center. The shop is a small one, but you can find everything for your daily needs. During the main season, it is advisable to book a table in advance in the restaurant. The beach is a bit far from the village, it's about 1.2 km downhill. There is a shuttle bus available for a reasonable price. The beach is a very small bay, surrounded by huge rocks.Guest review byGáborHungary - 10.0

Little coast cities in Croatia mostly look alike, very charming and cozy. People there also are friendly, but in seasons maybe not every place in Adriatic seaside are super clients oriented, I mean restaurants and cafe's, in some of them you can wait for waiters to come, or for a dish to be done. But it's not a problem, case is solvable, you just choose a place, and visit those that are more client loving). But when you walk through the narrow walking streets, listen to the local music artist, taste some Adriatic couzine - you are in love with Croatia!Guest review byTomiCroatia - 10.0
Opatija is a slow and old-money town.
Opatija is a slow and old-money town. If you come during an event such as RetrOpatija then there is something going on, if not it is very laid back. There are some good restaurants (Ruzmarin and Lavanda) and the town is walkable. For younger couples you can grab some ice cream or pancakes and walk around near the beach.Guest review byHadžiSlovenia - 10.0

Lovran is an amazing place, place of historical and natural abundance. The only problem are the roads and basic infrastructure after beautiful promenade in Opatija and Lovran. The cars are driving like there is MonteCarlo, without any consequences or fines, and as a walker going to the beach, you are not considered. Simply, there is no basic traffic lights, sidewalks and you can easily get killed there if not careful enough when passing the main street. This is a problem of the state regulations, but hotel guests are in danger, especially children.Guest review byAntonija Hinckel OsojnikGermany - 10.0

Mošćenička Draga is very cute little town with a typical small Mediterranean port and with lungomare promenade along Sipar beach. These were my favourite places to go every day. I ate at the hotel. Food was excellent there. It is very easy to get around Mošćenička Draga. Nothing to avoid!Guest review byNenadCroatia
