- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 9 reviewsAn exceptional villa, just perfect for our family of 6. Fantastic location, less than 10 min walk to centre of Komiza, very clean, modern & really well equipped. Also just at the start of several hiking trails. Correspondence before was brilliant and a taxi was organised to collect / drop off at the ferry (even though we needed at 6:15am pick up) and the price was for an 8 seater taxi and cheaper than just getting one at the post. Ratko who met us at the villa allowed us to check in early and use the pool while the villa was cleaned and then was on hand to help with car hire / restaurant advice and tourist activities - just brilliantGuest review byEmmaUnited Kingdom
- From £247.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 206 reviewsThe wonderful hotel is located in a small and beautiful ally only a few strides away from the boardwalk. It is stylishly furnished, very clean, cozy and yet elegant. We felt immediately comfortable as soon as we entered. We enjoyed our breakfast on the lovely and romantic terrace. There are plenty of choices. I want to point out the owners especially. They are affectioned, courteous and run their establishment with passion. The San Giorgio has lots of charm and is a marvelous place to spent a romantic vacation on Vis. We certainly would like to come back. Roman & MaschaGuest review byMaschaGermany
- From £134.29 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 26 reviewsWe had a wonderful stay! The apartment was great – very clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The terrace with a sea view was definitely a highlight, perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the center of Komiža, which made everything super convenient. The private parking was also a big plus. Our host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available to help or answer any questions. We truly felt taken care of. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!Guest review byMarinaMontenegro
- From £108.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 105 reviewsWe stayed for two nights and had a very good experience. The location was good with several restaurants and small markets nearby. There were also plenty of spots nearby to go for a swim. The walk to the «city centre» of Vis was not too far either. Moreover, the people working at Villa Vis were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and they were able to offer gluten free options.Guest review byBrageNorway
- From £87.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 318 reviewsWe booked 3 separate rooms for 3 couples, they are all located in the same building and each has access to the terrace which has a beautiful view. The rooms were clean, equipped with a small well-equipped kitchen. The bed were super comfortable, the bathroom spacious. The host was always available and ready to solve any problem, it was definitely a delightful stay!Guest review byivanfebboItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 88 reviewsNice location overlooking Kut and the harbour. Close enough to walk from the ferry but far enough to be relaxed and quiet. Really enjoyed the sunny patio with view. The accommodation was huge with 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, entryway, living room and dining room. Super friendly, relaxed and helpful hosts. Also, amazing value for the space, view and location.Guest review byAndrewCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 68 reviewsWHAT. AN. APARTMENT! Comfortable and spacious, and the view from the balcony was just stunning. The location is quiet, just a few minutes’ walk from the port. Beach isn’t too far away, nor are the supermarkets and bars/restaurants. Idyllic, and if I ever find myself on the island of Vis again I will absolutely be booking here again.Guest review byNatalieUnited Kingdom

The island of Vis is truly very special, still largely untouched by mass tourism, which gives it a unique and authentic charm. Its beaches are fabulous, with crystal-clear waters and stunning landscapes, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Additionally, the island offers wonderful restaurants where you can taste local cuisine made with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Here, time seems to slow down, allowing you to savor every moment calmly. The people are very friendly and welcoming, always willing to share their culture and hospitality.Guest review byInêsPortugal - 10.0
Lovely little fisherman village.
Lovely little fisherman village. Beautiful nature, pebble beaches, lots of cats and dogs all around, simple life and very relaxing place (in May). Cute old buildings and narrow streets. Good food in restaurants and at the market place.Guest review byLiisaFinland - 8.0
When we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely host.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely host. There was 2 beers in the fridge and some nuts which was a lovely add. It was clean and can’t fault the host or the room. However, the only thing to be made aware of is that the location is very far away from the port. It is a 20 minuet walk to the beach. A supermarket near by is mentioned however we were not able to find it. Luckily we had hired a car and were able to drive to others about 30 minuets away. There are 2 restaurants which are both lovely within walking distance but only sell fish related dishes. Would be perfect for a weekend away of peacefulness and to get away from others.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Vis is a great place to unplug and relax.
Vis is a great place to unplug and relax. The color of the ocean is mesmerizing and the streets of Vis town, Kut, and Komiza are fun to wander. We enjoyed a boat trip seeing the Blue Cave, Green Cave, and swimming at several beautiful beaches, although the water was still a bit chilly this time of year (on the plus side, the sites weren't crowded). Food and wines are fantastic, and there are so many great restaurants in Kut and Vis. If we'd had more time, we would have scheduled a wine tour as well.Guest review byMichelleUnited States - 10.0

Stunning part of the world. We did the hike over the hill to Beraski Beach location for a few scenes in The Mamma Mia 2 movie.Werll worth it as scenery unreal but not for those who struggle with incline or decline!!1.20hrs moderate paced walk there and back with the most beautiful crystal clear water to swim in and shady places to chill and have refreshments if you brought any!!Huge choice of great restaurants in Komiza and lots of excursions by boat to suit everyone’s budget.Food reasonable and wine delicious!!!Guest review bymaeveIreland - 8.0

Very pretty island with some nice swimming areas, perfect for chilling. Ample cafés and bars however we found Hotel Issa to offer by far and away the best value for walk in meals Good fun tracking down the Mama Mia locations. Ferry times make it unworkable for a single day trip so you have to factor in 2 nights accommodation Overall impressions 8.5 / 10Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Komiza is a lovely town with a great seaside getaway vibe.
Komiza is a lovely town with a great seaside getaway vibe. It's only 15 minutes from Vis Town and it's a bit more lively and definitely much more beautiful. They have the best tour operator on the island called Ames – a lovely couple who organise amazing boat trips round the island and cook exquisite food using locally sourced produce. Surprisingly, there are no ridiculously overpriced tourist traps and people are really lovely. Do yourself a favour and go there.Guest review byTomUnited Kingdom
