We spent three nights over there with my new wife. The room is really nice with an amazing open view on the rice field. The team was very helpful to organize trip nearby, with a full set of possible activities to do, including the visit of waterfalls, hikes and canoeing on the nearby lake etc. On top of the amazing place, the piscine is really nice and relaxing.

Dino is like an old friend you haven't seen in years, whom you enjoy meeting again and sharing your lives. In addition to the human aspect, the place is incredible, a true little seaside oasis with a magnificent pool, and delicious warungs nearby (special mention to Warung Kadek Merry). The staff is lovely and attentive. Undoubtedly one of the best places in Bali to unwind, forget all our worries, and make beautiful connections. Lovely place in paradise. The staff was very careful and Kind. The location was amazing with a incredible view into the jungle, you can even see monkeys playing close to the swimmingly pool. The place is elegant and beautiful, with everything you need. The restaurant is really good and the breakfast perfect !

    Taman Sari is a haven from the busy main road of Pemuteran. You won't hear any road noise as it is down a quiet road and right on the beach. The gardens are stunning. We stayed in a grand deluxe bungalow and couldn't have been happier. The bed was so comfortable, the outdoor bathroom was really nice and there was also a lovely terrace with a daybed to relax on. The pools were amazing, so refreshing and relaxing, it was hard to tear ourselves away. Breakfast was nice, with different western and Indonesian options. The restaurant is right on the beach and it was magical to sit and watch the ocean each morning. What really stood out were the staff, every single person was helpful and friendly, and there were so many staff it was always easy to find someone to help.

    Peaceful natural environment. So much wildlife. Monkeys, deer, Bali starlings, monitor lizards. Attentive and lovely staff. A wonderful welcome coconut and 5 minute massage after our long drive. Excellent turn down service inclusive of natural mosquito repellants. Beautiful outlook. Incredible spa nestled among mangroves overlooking the ocean. Daily kids activities. Water filter in the room was handy. It felt like a proper escape.

    Staff were very friendly, attentive, welcoming and helpful. The view from the pool amazing and very relaxing. The bungalow was nice and comfortable. Food was very delicious (just please, add Balinese coffee to your meniu not just in the breakfast time. It is nice to try not only local food but local coffee as well).     Really enjoyed snorkelling off the beach restaurant, though I think they could just provide the snorkels for free. Walking the roads and trails was fun, as was hanging out at the tower, watching hawk-eagles and swifts fly past. We had a friendly staff member look after our 2 year old for a day while went on a bird excursion, and that went very well. He loved her.

    1000 Dreams Bungalow is a lovely find and great value. The grounds, the gardens, pool, and the room are immaculate. The staff are great. The food and cook from the restaurant is good, some advise: contact the staff mid-afternoon to find fresh fish/seafood from the locale markets. Their recommendation for a dolphin tour was great with a good boat and guide.

    Literally everything! This was the start to an amazing honeymoon... The staff, the hotel, the food, the attention to detail. We could not find a fault even if we were forced to find it(and we were asked.. The staff request criticism so that they can improve, but it's impossible to find it).     Very quiet and untouched part of Bali.

    Very quiet and untouched part of Bali. Beautiful, long, near-secluded, coconut-tree-fringed beaches in Kaliasem, just ten minutes out of the main Lovina strip area. Local, traditional warungs on the beach. A world apart from Canggu, Kuta, Seminyak. It still retains the old Bali charm. Very, very laid back.

    The area around Munduk is very hilly so it is good to be prepared for this if doing a lot of walking. If you don’t have your own wheels, you are mostly reliant on local transport/drivers,to get to a number of attractions in the area. We enjoyed a visit to the Lakes and the Botanical Gardens which were very peaceful. Walking the 5 local waterfalls from Golden Valley was a highlight, which took us most of the day. Next time I would go on the canoes on Tamblingan Lake. It looked like fun.

    The area he’s like Bali 40 years ago. You are better off staying at a resort on the northern end of the beach, they are beautiful clean and with excellent food and staff, and away from the mosque. Eco Taste, Dimpil Beach Bar, Wrung Rama, The Sage excellent places to eat with cheap healthy fresh food. The Taman, Sari resort & Amertha Resort also have excellent food but more expensive.

    Nice relaxed rural/coastal Bali, great place to just wind it back and take time to slow down. Snorkeling, temple tours both great, hot springs are truely hot and well worth the visit (anytime of day or night), but I’ll mostly remember the friendly approachable people in the neighbourhood. Lovely people (great food)

    Located outside of Singaraja by about 10kms is "OMunity Bali". It is situated in the traditional highland village of Sudaji.. To get to this location you need to make your own transport arrangements to go there and especially leaving is harder as the local Grab App doesn't seem to reach to here. OMunity prepared food is delicious and creative but eating out elsewhere didn't have much choice esp if vegetarian. The ambience is relaxing, friendly and uncrowded. Walking around the neighborhood is pleasant, and there are short road trips with walks or treks to some of the most stunning scenic places in Bali.

    The lack of traffic, the water is clean and clear I I live in Cairns on The Great Barrier Reef and found some splendid fresh, alive and undamaged coral to the right of a place called Prana Veda. Friendly people, no one nagging you. I eat wherever the locals eat usually, get a scooter use map app and explore

    It is great to stay in the north of Bali! Getting around takes time and requires a private driver. Management & Staff was just Wonderful and made all our wishes come true.     Quiet and peaceful little town - reminded us of old Bali, when it was less busy and built-up. Plenty of restaurants and cafes without the hassle and noise of Legian, Seinyak etc. Not the most exciting place to shop, but great for peaceful walks along the beach. Very relaxed and laid-back atmosphere.

    For my money, Munduk and other areas of North Bali, are the places to visit if you are looking for an authentic Bali experience, lacking in over-crowdedness and offering simply what the South can no longer offer: unhurried, unobstructed and authentic natural beauty and kindness, the kind that was maybe present 40 years ago in the South, when I last visited. If you are into nature that is not over infrastructured, this might be your place too. Because it is remote, it will lack Grab and other conveniences but that is the price we pay for being early to a place. Let's hope it stays this way forever. I know the locals hope so too.

    It was quiet and peaceful, away from the busy southern parts of Bali. The downside is it takes 4 hours due to traffic leaving the south and slow moving traffic heading up into the mountains due to winding, narrow roads.
