We originally booked 4 nights at Mulia but ended up staying for 17 because we enjoyed it so much. It is a bit outside the center of Nemberala, but easy to reach by scooter. The area is quiet, right in front of the beach, and with stunning sunset views. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious. The rooms are spacious with outdoor bathrooms. The staff freshens them up every few days or on request, which worked perfectly for us. WiFi has also improved a lot. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, always happy to assist with scooter rentals, transport, island trips, or organizing shared dinners at the homestay. If we come back to Rote, we‘ll definitely return to Mulia ☺️

What a beautiful home - we loved waking up to the ocean and being able to cook our own meals. The kitchen is new and well-stocked. There are lots of lovely little sitting spots and the beds are really comfy. The beach out front is magnificent for rote - great for swimming and snorkelling. We’ll be back!

Hard to know where to start really. When you have the most beautiful view in the world, stunning accomodation, a hostess who will and can organise anything for you, coupled with a chef who worked as a sous chef in a Michelin Star restaurant in Barcelona....then you have absolutely everything. Can't rave about the place enough!!

It is one of the best places I've ever stayed. The owners, staff, and guests gather together for dinner and all sit around chatting and sharing stories into the evening. Nothing is too much trouble for Dave and Janet and they really look after their guests.Cannot recommend Lualemba bungalows highly enough.

we had a wonderful stay at Narrow. this place got everything under one roof. amazing food, ice cream, nice rooms and wonderful staff. also the location is perfect and the owners are really nice and helpful. they are always open for suggestions. if we come back to Rote we will stay again for sure. My partner and I stayed at Bao Vida for 2 weeks and it was such bliss!! It was such an escape, even just from the busier side of the island! Carla and her team are so welcoming and accommodating, we felt really looked after and enjoyed every second. Boa Vida is absolutely stunning and we loved swimming at the beautiful beach below. We would absolutely recommend this incredible place for anyone looking for something out of the ordinary with stunning surroundings!
