- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 804 reviewsMagnificent building and gardens, decore inside was superb. Staff at all levels were so helpful. Islam was so great on the first day, with our luggage, and helping us settle into Cork. His customer service skills with us and other interactions I observed with other guests was exceptional. Tiago was also noteworthy upon checking in and sorting out an issue that occurred with an over charge, upon checkout. He was very courteous and would always enquire about my day and what I had seen in Cork when I went through reception. I appreciate such high level of interested conversations. Loved the wellness area.Guest review byKayAustralia

Coffee was good. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and food was good quality, would be nice to have more options though. Hotel staff all friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to all popular sites.Guest review byAmandaAustralia

A group of 6 friends toured Scotland and Ireland for 2 weeks. Despite all the historical castles, breathtaking scenery, great pubs and restaurants, the best part of Dublin, and all the other wonderful cities we visited...are the people. The people make this part of the world a happier place.Guest review byPedroUnited States - 4.0

Not worse staying 2 nights. We stayed 2 nights in Galway and we regret that we did not stay longer. Galway is authentic, beautiful and people are very friendly Vs Cork. We visited the Jameson Distillery it was great.Guest review byThomas MichaelEgypt - 8.0
Beautiful city with tonnes of history and pretty much...
Beautiful city with tonnes of history and pretty much everything is within walking distance if you’re someone who’s older or has limited mobility. Everyone I met in the town were warm and friendly. Kilkenny castle being the obvious standout but the wee design area just across from the castle with all the bespoke shops are run by characters and very talented people! If you’re looking for a more relaxed, go at your own pace with tonnes of history then Kilkenny is perfect for a one to two nights getawayGuest review byDarrenIreland - 10.0

Wexford is situated seaside.
Wexford is situated seaside. It has a beautiful port that is several hundred feet wide and lends itself to many kinds of group activities. It's perfect for walking and looking landward to the colorful town built on a hillside. The meandering streets throughout the town are perfect for walking and enjoying the many beautiful buildings. Restaurants and cafes abound along every street.Guest review byThomasUnited States - 10.0
What an unexpected surprise.
What an unexpected surprise. Waterford packed a punch in terms of a lovely get away. Our favourite spots were around The Viking Triangle within the city and then Dunmore East for the sea, Mount Congreve- a gardener's delight, and Dungarvan, which is a charming harbour town. In terms of eating, I would highly recommend Mount Congreve for lunch and Bodega in Waterford City for dinner. We also checked out The Garden Mount Wolsley where you can delight in different plants and flowers from all over the world and have a fabulous lunch in their cafe. All in all, we were so impressed with Waterford. I would highly recommend staying in Granvilles Hotel too on Meagher Quay. It's four star with exceptional service and value.Guest review byDaraIreland - 8.0

If you are looking for cutting-edge city life, this is not...
If you are looking for cutting-edge city life, this is not for you. Dundalk is a former railway town, largely built round the (now defunct) works for the GNRI and with much 19th century red-brick architecture. It has a busy high street with a lot of small shops, pubs and restaurants, none are grand, it reminds me of similar towns in the UK before planning blight took hold. A lot of effort seems to have gone into smartening the place up in recent years, which is nice. Would that other towns of its scale have survived so well it would be nothing exceptional, but as so few have, it has a real charm. As a base, it is well sited to explore the countryside around, which has a long and interesting history, with a lot of historic sites.Guest review byNicholasUnited Kingdom
