What a beautiful place!! Modern but in a wonderful restored historic building. The views are amazing, the locationis perfect, the rooms spacious and clean, the food excellent and the staff exceptional and welcoming. Our flight got cancelled so we arrived a day late. So even without asking they amended our booking without any charges. That was so nice. They also organised the airport pick up and a city guide and gave us very helpful information. It was the best hotel of our Indian journey! Enjoy it. We will certainly come back!

-Exceedingly hospitable hosts. Jitendra went truly above and beyond in taking care of us. Breakfast was spectacular on the rooftop restaurant, and all the staff were super lovely. The room itself was spacious, well decorated, and clearly a lot of thought has been put into every single detail. Jaitendra also provided very helpful local tips, and suggested a few activities. We didn't feel pressured in any way. We ended up choosing their safari into the desert, with Mr Kabir Khan, who again provided exemplary service. Overall me and my partner would highly recommend staying at this place!

What a genuine accommodation - outside the tourist area but in the fantastic fort! Clean and well-functioning Wi-Fi and fantastic service. The owner Deepak offered to be a guide, we accepted and during our four days we received constant service and my three children and I felt like royalty. We got to experience "all" the greatness of Jaisalmer with everything from camel safaris, village visits, historical and cultural sights, shopping to nice people meetings. This at a significantly lower price than, for example, Tripadvisor could offer in advance. Yes of course higher than "local price" but good "tourist price". This was our first destination on our India trip but Deepak was and remains our number 1 guide! He initially wanted us to have good memories and that's exactly what we got! Be calm, be nice and smile was his recommendation wich I find meaningful. Many warm thanks for everything 😊

Amazing hotel with fabulous rooms and great service. We couldn’t have been more comfortable here. We were given great recommendations and was organised a heritage walking tour. Breakfast was very good up on the rooftop with great choice and amazing coffee! The room was incredible, beautifully decorated and very clean. The location inside the fort was wonderful and the rooms were extremely nice and comfortable. The staff, particularly Deepak, were very helpful and took care of all our needs at any time of the day. In addition, they upgraded us to the best available rooms and suites they had open during our stay. Whenever I go back to Jaisalmer, this is where I will stay.

Hotel offers very good standard. Rooms are clean and very big and they offer heater which is very much appreciated as nights in January are cold. Sandstone design is really impressive. Food in restaurant is delicious, you can try wide variety of India cuisine. Restaurant is on a roof top with amazing view!! Hotel has great location - walking distance from Jaisalmer Fort. India is very difficult destination, tiring, noisy, dirty, dangerous, you are expose to scam every minute, this is destination only for very skilled tourists and in this extreme and incredible madness Hotel Lal Garh Fort and Palace is a sanctuary of peace, security and cleanliness. With my son, we stayed 3 nights at Gaji hotel and one at Gaji desert camp. The hotel is a nice haveli, with rooms with good furniture, comfortable and on the terrace a restaurant where we had a delicious dinner and three breakfasts with a view of the fort. It is very close to it, which is the main attraction of the city. The price/quality ratio is very convenient. We also chose to do the desert safari with them and although many choose the option of sleeping in the desert without a tent, isolated, we opted for the tents because the comfort of these, which included good beds and a bathroom, was added to a very interesting spectacle. and variety of food options. And the price difference did not seem significant at all. The camel ride to see the sunset I understand that it was common to both options. But in particular I highlight the kindness of everyone. but especially from Gaji with whom we also went to the desert. I totally recommend these two accommodations

    I couldn’t have made a better hotel choice for my stay in Jaisalmer! The location is simply perfect — within easy walking distance from the intercity bus drop-off point and all the main sites, including the majestic fort. One of my favorite moments was relaxing on the rooftop terrace, enjoying the stunning fort views at the sunset. Even though I visited during the offseason when temperatures were soaring, the room remained wonderfully cool thanks to the thick stone walls and a powerful AC. I absolutely fell in love with my room — the authentic Rajasthani layout and beautiful decorations made it feel so special. The bed was really comfortable and spacious. The window chambers were incredibly cozy, providing the perfect spot to relax and recharge after a full day of adventure. The staff truly made my stay unforgettable. I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to Milly, Sumar, and Yasin for taking such wonderful care of me. They ensured I experienced the real spirit of Jaisalmer, arranging a memorable trip to the desert and looking after me every step of the way to make sure I felt safe, comfortable, and happy. I’m already dreaming of coming back to this marvelous city and this incredible hotel to explore even more of what Jaisalmer has to offer. Highly recommended!

    Sunny and his family provide an excellent accommodation option - comfortable and friendly all at a fair price. The bed was really big and comfortable, it didn't at all feel like a basic room which is what we booked. They picked us up early in the morning following our train from Delhi, organised our camel safari (would highly recommend, Dennis was an amazing guide and I work in Outdoor Education / activities provider so can spot a blagged trip easily and this was exactly as described and what we expected). During our trip we were allowed to leave our other bag at the hotel, and upon our return we were more than happy to stay for another night. Overall we felt very relaxed during our stay here and would happily return in the future - maybe even for the 14 day camel safari 😁

    Excellent and well maintained property. Huge property, being personally looked after by the promoters hence it is very neat, clean and well maintained. The staff is very courteous & helpful always ready to help. Brakefast spread is quite good many options are available with some Rajasthani dishes. Lunch Dinner menu is also large with good option. Food is quite tasteful which is required during holidays and relaxing period.

    Great Place with friendly accommodating staff. The Fort is an awesome place to walk around. And the sunset views from the balcony are to die for. We enjoyed dinner and live music one evening on the balcony. The staff was very helpful allowing us to store our excess luggage while we were on a camel safari between nights at the Victoria.

    Jaisalmer is well-known and rightly thought to be romantic.

    Jaisalmer is well-known and rightly thought to be romantic. There are lots of tourists-- the entire entrance to the great fort is mobbed by tourists and tourist shops and hustlers. Despite that, the magic of this desert city survives. It is a gem, beautiful beyond imagining. I hope we can return someday. The opportunity for a desert adventure-- jeep through the rocky paths, camel ride, dinner cooked over an open fire, the silence of the desert at night-- was delightful. Our driver, Ukka, was skilled and fun to be with.

    To be honest I thought it would be a continuous desert beyond Jaisalmer before our visit there. Know that the dunes are formed at certain places only. But they are obviously out of the world. One has to visit it once.

    Jaisalmer is a dream city.

    Jaisalmer is a dream city. Full of charm and very friendly locals. Jaisalmer Fort is my favorite spot. The architecture, views from roof top and the food all are incredible. A must visit site in Rajasthan.

    If you want to visit proper desert with Sandunes then Sam is...

    If you want to visit proper desert with Sandunes then Sam is the place. Gets a bit crowded during winter season but it's ideal climate to visit Jaisalmer. You can do Jeep Safari for sunset and sunrise. Same with camel safari. Desert bike and parasailing also available. If you are traveling in winter grab some warm clothes as it gets really cold in the mornings and evenings especially due to the winds. there are tons of camps and most of them offer cultural program. There are also lots of restuarants around and personal vehicle can be really helpful.

    Sunrise Desert Resort Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. Great value for money and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to others
