- From £415.79 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 139 reviewsIt was my first time in India, and choosing the Taj was the best decision I could’ve made. The team made me feel cared for from the first moment—I even asked when to return to see the mountains green, as in May they matched the golden Ganga! As a solo traveler, I was touched by the thoughtful precautions—calls screened by reception, safety tips about monkeys, and a direct contact from security (thank you, Himanshee!). My villa was perfectly placed between yoga and reception, with a stunning Ganges view. Pawan and his team kept it pristine, adding lovely local spa treats and always stocking my favorite tea. Morning tea on the balcony became a cherished ritual. Hi-tea with Helmata-ji was a daily delight—black tea with ginger and cardamom, always divine. I also loved discovering the espresso machine, sipping a cappuccino by Bhagwat while gazing at the Himalayas—pure magic. Staying longer, the Rock Flour team quickly tuned in to my tastes. Special thanks to Dipak Kumar Singh for crafting fresh, healthy off-menu dishes that truly pampered my palate. Everyone’s kindness and smiles made me feel right at home. I came for “me-time,” and the daily yoga, meditation, and sound healing—plus private sessions—were everything I hoped for. Shivani, your guidance turned my stay into a true retreat. You are both a gifted teacher and now, a friend. For adventure, Jitendra’s team offered great experiences. Trekking with Ajay, a passionate mountaineer, was a highlight—sharing local lore, spotting wildlife, and guiding me to a village temple, even across the river by inflatable boat! All in all the stay at Taj Rishikesh was exceptional!Guest review byAleksejsPGermany

I noticed that they treat all guests fairly, with respect and kindness, regardless of appearance or social status. In addition to this exceptional service, I appreciated the spacious and comfortable rooms, the delicious and varied breakfast buffet, and the hotel’s excellent central location, which makes exploring the city incredibly convenient. To sum up my stay at The Lalit, I would say it was a truly delightful and memorable experience marked by outstanding hospitality, comfort, and convenience. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Delhi.Guest review byDR. JANBahrain

The City Palace stood out as an architectural marvel...
The City Palace stood out as an architectural marvel exploring its rich history, intricate mosaics, and stunning lake views was a highlight. We loved our sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola, which offered dreamy vistas of Jag Mandir and the surrounding hills. Saheliyon Ki Bari and the Monsoon Palace also made for memorable, peaceful outings, perfect for couples seeking romance and great photo opportunities. We tried several excellent restaurants: Upre by 1559 AD was our favorite for its rooftop ambiance and delicious Mewari cuisine. We also enjoyed the vegetarian thali at Natraj Dining Hall, and had a memorable lakeside dinner at Raaj Bagh, which combined great food with beautiful views. For a unique touch, breakfast at Millets of Mewar offered healthy and innovative local fare. Getting around is mostly easy, especially if you use ride-sharing apps like Ola or Uber for airport transfers and short city rides. Within the old city, many attractions are walkable, but some roads are narrow, so auto-rickshaws or tuk-tuks are handy for zipping through the lanes. Renting a bike is a good option if you want more flexibility, though traffic can be a bit hectic at times. Young couples will love watching the sunset or taking a private boat ride on Lake Pichola for a romantic experience. Don’t miss an evening cultural show at Bagore Ki Haveli or the Dharohar Dance Show for a lively introduction to Rajasthani folk arts. Exploring Udaipur’s colorful old city markets, enjoying rooftop dinners with city views, and visiting art galleries or pottery workshops add creative, fun, and memorable experiences to your trip. Udaipur offers a truly magical escape with history, hospitality, food, and romance at every turn making it ideal for couples and anyone seeking memorable travel moments.Guest review byVikas Joshi CapgeminiIndia - 6.0

The city has a few spots that are visit worthy, but rest of it is just a huge village with very poorly designed infrastructure. The roads just flood with tiniest of rain spells and most of the locations would have you fear for your safety during night.Guest review bySageHumbleIndia - 10.0
Agra is a lovely city steeped in legendary history.
Agra is a lovely city steeped in legendary history. There are so many incredible places and monuments to explore, including one of the Seven Wonders of the World—the majestic Taj Mahal. I highly recommend that everyone visit the Taj Mahal at least once in their lifetime. It’s an unforgettable experience that truly lives up to its global reputation.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
It is best place to visit but in winters.
It is best place to visit but in winters. Stay near city centre where all temples like Kashi Vishwanath are located, visit Ganga Ghats for aarti in the morning and evening and soak through the city vibes. Plan stay for at least one week and go slow. City has a lot to offer.Guest review byMohit_MehtaIndia - 8.0

Spending time by the Ganga was wonderful—great food (especially near Parmarth Niketan), calm beaches, and plenty of places to explore. The only downside was that some groups of youngsters were there just to smoke and drink, which can spoil the vibe. My advice: double-check your stay before booking so you don’t run into that issue.Guest review byGauravIndia - 10.0
Aloo kulcha at Brothers Dhaba made my day.
Aloo kulcha at Brothers Dhaba made my day. Trip to atari to view Beating the retreat on a rainy day unforgettable. Prayer at Harmandir Sahib on the 400th Guru Purb day with all the festive atmosphere was divine. Prayer at Durgiana temple was mesmerizing. Shraddhanjali at Jalianwala Bagh was emotional. If you are claiming to be Indian please don't miss a visit to the great Amritsar. Love 💕Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Lucknow being one of the oldest City having rich heritage, culture and delecious food is worth exploring. The traditional cloth market at Hazratganj and Ameenabad is worth exploring. The food joints are simply amazing. This is a mixture of old traditional city with modern facilities. Vrindavan is a sacred place imbued with devotion and divine...
Vrindavan is a sacred place imbued with devotion and divine love for Radha and Krishna. During our recent visit, we had the blessed opportunity to perform the Parikrama and visit Tatia Sthan, a spiritually unique and serene place. What makes this location truly remarkable is its complete abstinence from electricity and artificial elements—it is illuminated solely by natural diyas, creating an atmosphere of deep peace and devotion. We also visited the ISKCON Temple, where we were fortunate to experience the soulful chanting of the Maha Mantra during the evening aarti. The entire experience was spiritually uplifting and left a lasting impression on our hearts.Guest review byDipu Kumar
