- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 117 reviewsThis is especially perfectly located for bikers wishing to ride the amazing roads and cols of this area. Big bonus is secure parking (FOC). Signora hostess, in spite of no English, was very accommodating and tried hard! This is basic accommodation, clean and tidy but no real facilities to talk of. The restaurant below was not open in the evening so you need to make your own arrangements to either eat out or buy food to eat in.Guest review byAliPebUnited Kingdom
- From £663.63 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 264 reviewsThe hotel is great, in an outstanding location and there is an exit from it to an amazing forest trip, but the main thing is the staff who go above and beyond and make sure I feel as if I am the only guest in the hotel. An infinity pool and a clean and well-maintained spa. Great breakfast and 3 great restaurants with fine food. The hotel is managed in an exemplary manner and is highly recommended. The pool and spa area is clean and spacious. The food served is michelin 5 plus stars. The breakfast has a very wide choice and the rooms spacious. Close to the lift(30m) and busses if needed. In town centre for access to all shopping. First time staying there, and would love to return.Guest review byRichardAustralia

There is a lot to do in Merano, rain or shine.
There is a lot to do in Merano, rain or shine. Of course, there are the local & famous walkways, the mountain hikes, bike trails, and the Dolomites are nearby. On rainy days, there are castles, the Terme spa/pools. Overall, it's a very nice town with a lot to do.Guest review byFinchUnited States - 6.0

Cortina is a good central location to use as a base for attractions in the region. It is known as quite an exclusive resort but we didn't find food and restaurant prices any higher that other Dolomite resorts. It is busy with lots of traffic which flows through the centre of the town. There are much prettier and quieter holiday towns and villages - especially in the Val Gardena area.Guest review byChrisUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This is a relatively small town and so easily walkable with lots of really nice local bakers, and shops selling cheese, wine, speck and chocolate - plus the usual supermarkets, pharmacies and places where you can get all your hiking and walking gear. Try strolling along all the narrow streets that lead off the main square to see what's there. A really pleasant and slightly longer walk to take is by following the path along the river to the nearby Neustift/Novacella Abbey where you can try the excellent wine they make there (the local grape varieties are Kerner and Sylvaner) and cheese.Guest review byRuthUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beautiful countryside and perfect for walking or cycling in the hillsides around the village, plus some really nice restaurants open late into the evening filled with people who all appeared to be having a good time. Also great to be able to do some duty free shopping.Guest review byBruceUnited Kingdom - 10.0

There's so much to do in the area. we went summer skiing at the glacier (Stelvio), which was ok (lots of long lines for the button lifts because of the hundreds of ski club teams). But the nearby QC Terme Bagni Vecchi was amazing. Would like to have stayed longer for hiking and mountain biking. Very nice little town and beautfil surroundings.Guest review byLu KoUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Our weather for the two days of skiing was rough and warmer temperatures made the ski out challenging for tired skiers. We didn't get to Versante Checrouit or Val Veny so we can't rate them. The town is fabulous with great restaurants and shops. Especially Aria with its superb food and service. There is a great variety of intermediate and beginner trails but not a lot of expert terrain.Guest review byJasonCanada - 10.0
The town is the perfect location to explore the Dolomites.
The town is the perfect location to explore the Dolomites. Hotels and Apartments are plentiful and in every price level. You can choose from so many hikes (all different levels) you can fill 3 weeks. Depending what other locations are on your itinerary, 3 days allow you to see the highlights and get a sense of the beauty of the Dolomites. Yet, it's easy to fill a week. Summer like winter.Guest review byMichaelGermany - 10.0

We arrived via train and bus from Milan. very long day as flew from Perth WA and arrived at 6 am. Very pleased to find a comfortable bed walking up a steep footpath from the bus station with our luggage was a bit of a challenge. Loved checking out the church before bed.Guest review byTeasdale - 10.0
Nice and clean apartment.
Nice and clean apartment. Even we only had contact with the host via the chat, the host was very helpful though. The location of apartment was perfect. It's located in the city center. We love the view outside the living room. Parking was 15 euro per night, it's very nearby apartment. We had a lovely stay at Casa Fellin.Guest review bySumalaiNetherlands - 10.0

Because of the two gondolas accessible in town, we were able to explore both sides and experience a variety of terrain, none extremely challenging which worked for our various fitness levels. The views are stupendous and the convenience of the huts along the trails for lunch, a drink or even a break from the rain were fantastic. We didn't need to worry about packing snacks or lunches, and instead enjoyed reasonably priced, delicious meals along our hikes.Guest review byCarmenUnited States
