Rich Legacy and Natural Beauty
One of the richest archaeological regions in Italy, Puglia has received the influx from Greeks, Romans, Goths, Lombards, Byzantines, Normans and Spanish, amongst others. Together with an unusual and amazing landscape, Puglia is an Italian must!
With lower mountains than the rest of the country, it mixes fertile tablelands with dry landscape, rocky plateaus, and green hills. Kissed by the Adriatic and Ionian seas, its crystalline waters, rocky inlets and small sandy coves, well deserves a stay in some of the Puglia hotels on the beach.
Don’t miss the beautiful promontory of Gargano, nor Lecce’s stunning Baroque historic centre. Alberobello’s ‘trulli’ stone houses are a picturesque must. Being Apulia’s capital, Bari offers a number of cultural offer highlights as well as a lively nightlife, also famous in the summer resort of Gallipoli.

- From US$302.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 494 reviewsI can only speak in superlatives—an outstanding paradise! I have never experienced such a clean, fresh hotel in my life, and we travel 3–4 times a year. The staff and service were exceptional—so attentive and intuitive, they truly have hospitality in their fingertips. We were traveling with our child, who has Down syndrome, ADHD, and autism. Our meals were served in a quiet corner, and the care we received was so unique and heartfelt it brought tears to my eyes. We can never be away from home for more than 72 hours, as routines are essential for our child. Even though we never really have a “vacation” in the traditional sense, because our child requires constant attention, this time we genuinely felt the vacation spirit. At first, I was worried there was no buffet and that meals were à la carte—but it turned out to be amazing. Our child, who is very selective with food, received meals perfectly suited to his taste. The food was divine! Beautifully presented, it felt like true fine dining. We had full board, which I absolutely recommend. Golf carts took guests to and from the beach—even though it wasn’t far, this was a tremendous help for us, and we made full use of it. The beach was super clean and fresh. All textiles were of luxurious quality and smelled divine—but subtly so. Perfect in every way. There was a small shop in the area and an ice cream bar as well. We flew into Bari and had a rental car. A huge thank you to everyone who welcomed us—from receptionists, waitstaff, lifeguards, housekeeping, and chefs to the amazing guys assisting guests at the front desk—thank you all so much! You were incredible!Guest review byJanosSweden
- From US$886.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 25 reviewsMe and my boyfriend stayed for a long weekend in May at this beautiful, truly private, magical place and we had the best time. The people, especially the host, Adriano, were extremely kind, warm and welcoming, it was hard to leave. The property is stunning, a dreamy place with history, the rooms we saw (we had to switch at some point) were very classy and beautiful. The perfect place to charge batteries, also, incredible food. I am absolutely thrilled and will hopefully be able to come back some time!Guest review byAntoniaGermany

Wonderful old town with its honeycolored tuffstone buildings...
Wonderful old town with its honeycolored tuffstone buildings in barock achitecture. The Duomo and the great piazza del Duomo with its Campanile, Bishop Palace are beautiful.. From the church tower one has a great view. Another great and lively square is Piazza Sant Oronzo with the statue of the saint. Unfortunately, there was construction and closure of some part of the square but still big enough space for street performances at night. Day time was too hot. Aroud the piazza are niche cafes and restaurants.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Vieste is really interesting and pretty old town and the people are friendly. Good standard of restaurants and not overpriced. There's a port where we hired a boat or you can get a boat trip. Some parts are very steep but worth walking up for the views. We stayed on the beach, a 25 min walk in along the beach but worth it or there's a bus for 2 euros p.p Would definitely recommend it :)Guest review byJonnyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Alberobello is a beautiful town but gets super busy.
Alberobello is a beautiful town but gets super busy. If possible visit early morning, or late evening to miss the crowds. The night view is as wonderful as day time with the Trullis lit up. Plenty of parking - either on the roadside approaching the town, or in the shared car parks. Lots of places to eat - all reasonably priced and comparable for the areaGuest review byHelenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Otranto has a charming, beautiful Altstadt.
Otranto has a charming, beautiful Altstadt. It has a wonderfully tiled big square along the harbor with lots of restaurants. The town's white washed houses are delightful. It has a nice cathedral with a huge, beautifully restord mosaic along the floor of the cathedral. Visiting the historic castello is advisable. Walking the small pretty streets with its shops, cafes is very pleasant.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Nice beaches, plenty of fast food vendors, or dine-in restaurants if you prefer. Beaches were very clean, and locals very helpful. Prices were very reasonable too, with local shops providing local produce. For a real treat, try Cosimino Restaurant on Via Cosimo Albano; you can book a table overlooking the sea - its great food, and a fabulous atmosphere. It was not a noisy resort, in fact, we thought it was quiet, however, on weekends there was live music after dark. If you are planning a stay, Porto Cesareo is the perfect place to unwind and capture some Italian sunshine.Guest review byJeffUnited Kingdom
