We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it! The room was spacious, comfortable and stylish and the view was unbelievable! The staff made us feel very welcome and we were upgraded at no extra cost to a suite. The location is perfect - very central (a few minutes walk to the main piazza) but on a lovely quiet street. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would give 10 out of 10 for this beautiful, authentic, friendly hotel.

    Location was excellent, on the beach with allocated sunbeds for your villa/cottage. Staff were friendly and the beach bar was great!     Florence was wonderful.

    Florence was wonderful. A breath taking view at every turn of a street. Lovely restaurants, shops etc. and felt super safe walking around at any time of night with my daughter. We did a pasta and tiramisu cookery class with unlimited wine - it was great fun and well worth booking. We travelled by train from Pisa, and the public transport is fantastic. Will do a lot more train travel when we go back. Loved it.

    Great location within a 20 minute walk to the main attractions. Hotel is a little run down in places but staff were great, pool was lovely and breakfast was delicious. We ate in Pisa but there is a great restaurant in the hotel also.

    It's a beautiful city.

    It's a beautiful city. Quite confusing to find your way around. Do not get the train, though. You have a bus replacement at Empoli. I'm fluing back from Pisa and taking the bus to Florence, then the train to Pisa. If you're using Trainline beware of delays which then mess up the rest of the journey. Itabus from Lyon is really comfortable but we were delayed and had to book new connections from Turin. Make sure you have at least two hours leeway

    Great place to stay and a lot of history, arts, and culture to be explored. I didn't expect that it is such a nice and beautiful place. Would recommend to everyone, especially the cafes and tavernas. I had not enough time during my stay to see enough of all the places in Lucca - so will be back - hopefully soon.

    Was not impressed with the city and expected more given all the review I read online. My disapointment could be due to the fact I visited in February, so off season. I booked two nights but decided to only stay for one and left early. Even though I booked a room in the central part of the city I did not feel safe walking the streets at night.
