SpainWe loved our stay at Albergo Belvedere! We came to the mountains trying to escape the heat and we couldn't have been more happy to end up in this hotel. The best of all, the staff, who were absolutely wonderful. Luigi and Luisa are super nice and welcoming. It felt a little bit like visiting the Italian family we don't have. And the village and it's surroundings are stunning. 10/10, especially if you get to taste Luigi's grappa and Lisa's jam! We'll be back!

The SPA is definitely worth trying. Vezzano Ligure is in a great location, very quiet and only 20 mins drive from La Spezia, Lerici and Sarzana. We had a great time!

The bar and restaurant served good fresh food and there is off road parking in a large car park behind the hotel. I was in a quiet annex in a building a couple minutes walk away. Just off the motorway, it was a really convenient stop off. I was travelling with my dog and there is a large park where I could walk him safely off lead nearby. Only downside was the extreme heat and no air conditioning, but there was a fan, and for the price of the room it wasn’t expected. I stayed at Casa Faggiona. Calm place in the countryside, ideal for relaxation. Clean house i.e., living room, bedroom and bathroom. Good size of rooms and comfortable beds. All facilities present in the house e.g. Wi-Fi, TV, Dishes, Cups, Liquid Soap, Towels etc... Helpful owner left clear instructions in the house and was prompt in coming when we contacted her. If a true borgho experience is what you look for than come to Casa Di Gaia. Dino the fabolous host made the renovation of this borgho his life passion. The room is moden and comfortable, but the surrounding atmosphere is a true charm, one that you can experience only in the Cinque Terre region. Very nice small town, super train connection to La Spezia, where you can start your trip to Cinque Terre and also Pisa you can reach easy with the train. The town is nice but if you are there it’s probably for visiting 5terre, which is really overrated and overpriced tourist attraction, with no respect for tourists.
