Sumeru was honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. The property is lovely, bungalows are well designed and decorated, and the views are amazing. Delicious food cooked by the owner was a surprising bonus!

The location is great, with super nice views of the beautiful landscape. The hotel itself is a great value for money, and it has a nice italian restaurant at the lobby where you can enjoy some western comfort food. The staff is incredibly kind, efficient and helpful, and really made the best of our stay. Thank you!!!

Pida coffee farm lodge is EXCEPTIONAL! The spot is just incredible, indeed it’s not close to the town but if you come to Mondulkiri, is it not to find some peace ? The rooms are great, the bathrooms are great, the coffee farm tour is really so interesting ! The food is good, the coffee is good, the smoothies are goooood, the staff is very nice and helpful and convenient ! And the vue to the jungle from the bedrooms is also great ! AND if you have children they have a WONDERFUL playground for them to play! Our son loved it and didn’t want to leave this morning (and actually us neither) We stayed only two nights and would definitely have loved a week there!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The city is within walking distance from the guesthouse, but you're still far enough from its noise. The guesthouse has a beautiful chilling area outside with hammocks, tables and chairs, where you can enjoy a fresh breeze and hear the rooster sing. It also has a restaurant for when it's too chilly outside. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and the bathroom has everything you need: hot water, a toilet with a hand shower, fans to extract the vapor and toiletries. There's also AC and a fan, but we didn't need them during our stay. The moskito net is in good condition. And on top of that, Manel is fantastic. He is always helpful, caring, funny, and has a smile on his face. He organized the two days trecking tour with the Mondulkiri Project for us, and was flexible enough to change our reservation to adapt to our new travelling plans. Moreover, on our last day here I got really sick and he helped us sort everything out: he called the travelling company to postpone our trip and extended our stay so I could have an extra day of rest. He also offered to take me to the clinic, which fortunately wasn't necessary. If we came back to Mondulkiri, we would definitely stay here again.

Mondulkiri is such a beautiful and unknown Cambodian jewel.. Journeys in the jungle, elephant sanctuaries and a myriad of waterfalls, make this place a MUST when traveling to Cambodia. And while doing so, this resort IS THE PLACE to stay. Breakfast was outstanding! Gorgeous location, you could enjoy your breakfast with wonderful views, beautiful comfy bungalows, infinity pool... The staff was friendly, supper kind and super helpful all the time. We had dinner by the pool, we were allowed to leave our luggage for couple of days while sleeping in the jungle and then when we were back we had a shower on the premises even though we weren't customers anymore. They even organized our journey in the jungle! I wanted to mention all by name, but I lost my notebook on my travel :( Big shout out to you all!

The host was very welcoming and helped with any questions during our stay. The room was very spacious, the bed very comfortable, a big bathroom and hot water, one of the best we've had in Cambodia. You can rent a bike or scooter at a reasonable price. Free water refills and restaurant onsite.

Little town with an atmosphere, it was difficult to leave!

Little town with an atmosphere, it was difficult to leave! The wildlife around is thriving and we totally recommend trekking and visiting the animal conservation projets around. There are e few good restaurants around like the hangout at which we ate 4 times, with a very welcoming lady.

Loved our stay at the Nature Lodge where we ate great food at the onsite restaurant. We had one full day trip sightseeing around Sen Monorom and surrounds where we went to a local Coffee Plantation for lunch which was higher in price for food (close to Australian prices) but very delicious, walked through local farms, Bou Sra Eco Park where we saw Bou Sra waterfall which I would recommend, the Sea Forest Lookout was a fun way to watch the sunset while taking cheesy touristy photos, and Sunset Hill/Phnom Do Kramom which gave us a beautiful panorama of Sen Monorom. A highlight of my entire Cambodian trip was the 2-Day jungle trek with the Mondulkiri Project which I would 100% recommend as an ethical ecotourism project which gives back directly to land conservation, supporting a local Indigenous village and the rescue and safe keeping of elephants which have been removed from previously unethical working backgrounds which endangered them. The town had everything we needed when visiting but didn't spend much time around the markets or town centre to be able to comment. Very easy to get a tuk tuk to get around and buses travel to and from major towns and cities daily.

We stayed at Sumeru Bungalows which was great, before visiting Mondulkiri Project to see some elephants in the wild and do a 1.5km trek through the jungle. As we're older travellers (50s-60s) we found some of the trek v challenging but it was worth it. Sleeping in hammocks was tough but doable for one night! Could be a bit more vegetarian food, boiled rice and plain vegetables was a bit light on for the level of activity, but the overall experience was incredible. Worth a visit for sure!
