Great price and great location with loads of dining options nearby. The night market is 15 min walk away and Pub Street a further 5 min walk. When you become a guest you also get access to Eric, the proprietor and his wealth of knowledge about Siem Reap. He managed to organise tuk tuk tours and Apsara dance show and give recommendations of where to eat. That knowhow was invaluable

The rooms we booked were very good, next to each other and large enough for us.. The hotel took into considerations our requests we wrote in advance. We like this old style of the hotel. We enjoyed the swimming pool, wich was open till night, so we could swim always after the sightseeing or shopping.

Travelling to Siem Reap during the wet season is great if you can plan a longer stay. The land is lush and green. It rains mostly in the afternoon and for only 1-2 hours. Low season means lower prices. Angkor archaeological sites are less crowded. Enough indoor activities for wet-weather like visits to APOPO, Lotus farm, Kun khmer gym session, museums, shopping etc.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Bronam Residence & Spa in Siem Reap, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and heartfelt hospitality that made me feel right at home. The food was truly a highlight—every meal was a delightful blend of authentic Khmer flavors and international cuisine, beautifully presented and bursting with freshness. Whether it was breakfast by the pool or a candlelit dinner at the restaurant, every bite was memorable. The facilities were top-notch. The rooms were impeccably clean, elegantly designed, and offered the perfect balance of comfort and style. The serene pool, lush gardens, and relaxing spa created a peaceful atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the temples. But what truly sets Bronam apart is the outstanding hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and personalized. They were always attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring—nothing felt transactional, everything felt sincere. I wholeheartedly recommend Bronam Residence & Spa to anyone visiting Siem Reap. It's a hidden gem that delivers luxury, tranquility, and the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again.

I had an excellent stay at Angkor Home 27th! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I especially loved the location — just a short walk to the city center but still peaceful and quiet. The complimentary breakfast, and swimming pool was a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Siem Reap!

I love Siem Reap so much I have come back time and time again. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and makes you feel at home. I recommend walking along the river and grabbing a bite to eat from one of the vendors. Also try Tevy's restaurant you won't be disappointed. Everything is cooked fresh to order, so you have to wait a bit but its so worth it.

Siem Reap is wonderful: a unique place and one of the most...

Siem Reap is wonderful: a unique place and one of the most special in the world. It has plenty of bars and restaurants and a lovely riverside area. (The variety and quality of food is among the best I’ve experienced in Southeast Asia) It’s also very bike-friendly, with many dedicated cycle lanes (one extending pretty well all the way to Angkor Wat.) The Angkor Wat archeological park is amazing. If you have time, my advice is to go for the seven-day pass valid for a month. That way, you can spend a day or half day at Angkor, break it up with time in Siem Reap, and instead of suffering “temple-fatigue,” from trying to see too much in too short a time, really appreciate how special the place is. And, for me, the best way to see it is by bicycle. The terrain is flat. The roads are (mostly) good and quiet, and there are many cycle lanes. There’s plenty of cycle hire places in the area. I used Bayon MTB Project. The man who runs it is real bike enthusiast and is always working on maintaining the machines, which, in consequence are in very good condition. If, while in some remote part of Angkor (or anywhere else) you should have a puncture or other problem with your bike, he’ll come to you to fix things. He and his wife also do a lot of work with children in the area. Basically, then, good people, good bikes, good prices and great service.
