Stadard double was good. Family room was big and spacious. We enjoyed the bath tubs in both rooms. Rooms were clean. Breakfast were very good, yummy. Staffs were all friendly and really helpful. Helped us book taxis and adviced all the possible transportation back to seoul. Location was also great, near the city hall. We liked our stay!

    I lived in Changwon for 2 years and this was my first visit...

    I lived in Changwon for 2 years and this was my first visit since leaving. It is a small city but has plenty of food and nightlife options to keep busy and entertained. There are multiple large shops and centres which include cinemas and other entertainment venues. Changwon is close enough to enjoy day trips to Masan, Busan and Geoje without having to pay a fortune for hotels and deal with the extra traffic. There are some great hikes within easy reach which give great views of Changwon and Jinhae bay.

    This place isn't for those who like the pace of Seoul.

    This place isn't for those who like the pace of Seoul. It's a very quiet area with beautiful natural surroundings. We came to see an island we had seen on a Korean variety show, so we knew what we were going in to. However, the next time we come to Korea we want to stay a few more days. We liked the quiet area a lot (we were there in October, it may be busier in the summer season).

    I think Namhae is the most beautiful area in Korea. I enjoyed German town. I can't comment on the restaurants, but I would recommend Danke Schnitzel. The food was excellent. At the Deutsch Platz, and around most of the town, I found the beer to be overprices 30,000 is too expensive for a large can or bottle of beer. There needs to be more real German food there.

    Tongyeong is a beautiful city with lots of walks in parks.

    Tongyeong is a beautiful city with lots of walks in parks. The views from the top of the cable car are tremendous but the walk down was a bit treacherous because the first 500m of the stone paved path have been destroyed by weather. Better wear really good walking boots! With enough time, Tongyeong is a good base for visiting some islands.

    I would probably spend two days at Jinju as there was lots...

    I would probably spend two days at Jinju as there was lots we did not have time to see. We attended the last night of the lantern festival and it would have been nice to see the areas during the day time as well and read more about the history of the area and walk along the river with out the crowds.

    Hydrangeas along the roads are very pleasing to the eye.

    Hydrangeas along the roads are very pleasing to the eye. All the beaches and fishing villages are very cozy. Enough of attractions to visit with children or without them. The only upsetting thing was the weather difficult to predict :)

    Probably one of the best islands in South Korea. Sangju beach is the best, and there are a few more beaches that are also nice. I believe there is also nice trekking on the hills, but we did not experience.

    Tongyeong Skyline Luge.

    Tongyeong Skyline Luge. Make sure you visit it and go for a spin, great fun. Pretty relaxed place, not as hectic as a lot of bigger places. Local buses get you everywhere, though since Tongyeong is relatively small they don’t come as often as bigger places.

    The nature is luxurious and the landscapes are incredible. I only had foggy weather during my stay but it only added a very mysterious special vibe. It's a nice place for a short trip on foot. There is not a lot of public transport (at least where I was, in Wahyeon) but thanks to the scenic paths on the coast and in the mountains, you can visit the nearest attractions without a car. The south-east coast seemed like a very quiet and peaceful place to me, with some great touristic spots. As my Korean host told me, you should definitely visit the small island Oeda Botania if you are near!

    Tongyeong is a charming little port city.

    Tongyeong is a charming little port city. One of my favorites. It's beautiful with lots of dining options and attractions. I love the area around the port. It's a bit touristy, but if you dig a little you can find true gems. There's a great little artist area and even better, you can take a ferry to several wonderful islands off the coast. It's totally worth the trip.
