A lot of places to go for a walking outdoor as the Birute park, seaside, main street etc. Visit the Amber Museum, Concer hall and whatever you want. Try Lithuanian cuisine specialities as ceppelines, cold beetroot soup, potato pancakes with meat filling, different kinds of local fish, berries, cabbage rolls with chopped meat. We were going for Dolphins and sea museum but got surprised by how beautiful the rest of the city is. Especially, the riverside so busy with boats, vendors and cafes caught our attention. For a longer stay, when it is around 25C in summer, it would be useful to change towels and bed linen in the middle of the stay. Our holidays 10. The drain of the water from the shower is slightly blocked. No balcony dryer. Armchairs not for summer. Every sweaty tourist in front of us leaned his back and there is the effect. Dunes, sandy beaches, aromatic pine tree forests, unique Curonian Spit nature, and bespoke old wooden houses in the small fishermen villages, amber, local fish food .. Certainly worth to visit this special place and to have peaceful, calm holidays at least for a week or two, visiting Nida and smaller villages like Preila, Juodkrante. Rusnė is a wonderful place if you're tired of buzzing Lithuanian seaside or a little bit overpriced Nida. Atmosphere is very relaxing and calm, people are simple and friendly. Good thing that you can find couple of nice restaurants to dine-in such as Prie Peterso Tilto. We travelled to Klaipeda to visit the curonian spit which is very beautiful,we went to Nida and Judokrante and spent a day in each place.
