- From £110.22 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,252 reviewsOur stay at Hotel Royal Mirage in Fes was truly exceptional! The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, but what made it unforgettable was the amazing staff. I want to give a very special thank you to Mohamed Meskine at the reception. His warm welcome, helpful attitude, and deep knowledge about the history of Fes really stood out. He took the time to guide us on how to get to the Old Medina and made sure we had everything we needed. Honestly, if I could rate him, I’d give 100 out of 10 – that’s how incredible he was! Also a big thanks to his colleague, Mohamed 2, who was just as friendly and professional. Highly recommend Hotel Royal Mirage for anyone visiting Fes. Great location, comfortable rooms, and most importantly – truly wonderful people!Guest review byBernolakovaIreland
- From £155.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.2Good - What previous guests thought, 219 reviewsWe had a nice stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed. It’s conveniently located near minimarkets, which was great for quick purchases. A particularly nice touch was the presence of a sandbox/play area for kids—it made it easier to relax while the little ones had fun. The property has good features like a dual shower and dryer, although the bathroom space was a bit tight. There were also a few ants near the entrance, which could be improved. Still, the positives outweighed the small issues, and we appreciated the thoughtful family-friendly setup. Would recommend for families looking for a practical and comfortable stay.Guest review byKabeerUnited States
- From £90.97 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 246 reviewsThis was the nicest place we stayed in our entire Morocco trip! The staff were truly exceptional, the view was outstanding and the overall hotel was faultless. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. We ate the set menu of locally sourced Moroccan food every night and it was the best we had on our trip, with something new and fresh everyday. The breakfast was also wonderful. All of the staff were fabulous and couldn’t do enough for us, a big thanks to Fatiha, Alaa, Kaoutar, Wahib, Mehdi and especially Hamza who despite our terrible french went above and beyond. Gorgeous pool, incredible sunset and a truly unique location.Guest review byKiraUnited Kingdom

Loved the beautiful artisanal crafts and decor everywhere.
Loved the beautiful artisanal crafts and decor everywhere. Love this place for its connection to history. What I didn’t like was how the people living in the medina would lie about roads being closed, keep trying to befriend you in a fake way do they can lead you anywhere then fight about tips. I also really disliked the obscene tourist pricing in the markets. Artisans and shop kerpers mark up items 4, 5 or more times what the price of the item should be. A lot of deception and trickery when selling.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Very authentic city but lacking nice restaurants that felt clean. In the newer area there was a great place called Le Stream. Favorite places were the music museum and mausoleum. Petit Taxis were reasonably priced and made getting around the city inexpensive and easy.Guest review byDonnaCanada - 10.0

Peculiar European style roof houses for sliding the melted ice, calm, quiet and very comfortable hotels available, especially I highly recommend MICHLIFEN RESORT. Hotel staff was very obedient, punctual. Hotel surrounding, forest tour by walk.. Deep inside, a visit to a small lake for a short picnic, smaller town comparatively and a short centre ville visit are special moments in 4 days visit. A retirement town. I breathed most clean air in the whole of my life. Very clean town.. I always used to rate some rural area of Sub Saharan Africa as the best for good air quality but now my new option is IFRANE of this beautiful country "MOROCCO".Guest review byJayant PALNITKARIndia - 6.0
Not much happening in this town.
Not much happening in this town. Hard to find good restaurants. Most places seem to serve fast food. Probably the biggest draw is the proximity to Ifrane National Park and the famous Barbary macaques. They are easily spotted on the road N13 leading into town mainly because people like to feed them there so there are plenty to see.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10.0
Booking.
Booking. Com is very hard to write a review in the system, it deleted all my long descriptions. The accommodation was wonderful and welcoming. The 15th century palace in the middle of the 9000 Fez alleyways was stunning and beautiful. The staff was exceptional and helpful and quickly became friends. Moroccan people are polite and respectful and helpful.Guest review bycorinnaUnited States - 10.0
A Hidden Gem for Peace and Tranquility
A Hidden Gem for Peace and Tranquility Nestled far from the hustle and bustle of modern cities, this town offers a serene retreat into a simpler, more peaceful way of life. The charm of the town lies in its timeless atmosphere, where modernity is far from the priority. Here, life moves at a slower pace. The architecture of Moulay Idriss mosque is nothing short of breathtaking, The intricate tiles and majestic arches tell stories of a rich cultural heritage, while the fountains within the mosque add a sense of tranquility and spiritual serenity. It’s a place where you can spend hours marveling at the craftsmanship and feeling completely at peace. The landscapes are equally captivating, with vast stretches of olive trees dotting the hillsides. What makes this town even more special is its people — respectful , down to earth and welcoming, they embody the warmth of a culture that values tradition and hospitality. There’s no fuss here, just a genuine sense of community.Guest review byNorMorocco - 4.0

Don't believe the online videos or guidebooks that say that the whole of Meknes is a building site! While there is a lot of renovation going on, there are still marvelous things to see and do. The medina is very interesting and comes with very little hassling. Its worth taking a day trip - or longer - to the mid Atlas mountains.Guest review byJaneSouth Africa - 8.0

Ifrane is a small town so choices for food outside of the few hotels are limited. We like to take drives in the countryside each day and then return to town. There are a few very nice parks to walk through. Especially Ain Vittel on the outskirts of town.Guest review byoilpatchmikeUnited States
