The location top of the mountain, view of Old city
I thought it is a bit far away to go to old town, but it was just 10 min by taxi and price was just 30 MAD. All staff is so kindly and very good customer service. Room is clean and there was a bathtub.
I felt the location is safely than old town. So it didn’t need worry about walking around at the night time.
Also we ate a dinner in front of the pool. Food was nice and staff was so friendly. We spent a great time. Thank you very much!!
We traveled by motorcycle and stayed at this hotel – everything was absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We especially appreciated the safe parking and the peaceful surroundings, which made for a relaxing stay after a long ride. Highly recommended for anyone traveling through the area – whether on two wheels or four!
Our experience was of the highest quality, we enjoyed every moment of our stay at the Palais Medina. The staff were brilliant and showed excellent customer service, especially Hanan who organised our stay. I would highly recommend staying here as the location is perfect suited to step into the Old Medina City and located close to shopping malls and eating outlets. We look forward to stay here again
I booked a room at the Sheherazade Palace with a great discount, but what amazed me the most was that it was a truly magnificent palace—like a rare masterpiece. The view was unlike anything I had ever seen in my life, breathtaking and mesmerizing. The architecture and ambiance made me feel like I was in a fairy tale, blending luxury with history in a way that left me speechless.

The feel of this hotel is quite special, it really was an old palace in Fez. They have furnished it with period pieces and they have so many little rooms and areas to enjoy. The restaurant is very worth the visit as is the bar.
Location was at the center of the city. A few restaurants about and generally a safe area. Parking is a street parking, but there are places allocated to the hotel guests, and there is a guard available all the time.
this hotel has everything you need really. A nice quite bar and if you want something more lively club. Location is great and the staff are very approachable and kind. I will be staying here again.
The Hotel and its facilities are a design and architecture gem in a great position of the Fez Medina. Possibly one of the most stunning places we ever stayed at.

What I didn’t like was how the people living in the medina would lie about roads being closed, keep trying to befriend you in a fake way do they can lead you anywhere then fight about tips.
I also really disliked the obscene tourist pricing in the markets. Artisans and shop kerpers mark up items 4, 5 or more times what the price of the item should be. A lot of deception and trickery when selling.

Fez's market is huge and overwhelming.
Fez's market is huge and overwhelming. We had a guide and driver for our 1 day which was perfect. The only thing that was hard for me is that so much of the mid/late day with the guide was focused on the various crafts they make - leather, Berber rugs, cactus silk scarves (and even though the guide kept saying there was no obligation to buy anything, I kept feeling like I was getting pushed to buy - which as a minimalist is a pretty uncomfortable place for me). We had an amazing dinner at Ishq. The lamb shoulder will be in my top 5 lifetime memorable meals. Walking in the medina seems very difficult. We tried to walk to dinner (should have been 8 minutes), got lost, an old woman eventually led us out and found the general area of the restaurant and we tipped her/thanked her profusely as it felt like we were in a maze that we would never find our way out of. For what it's worth, I was reading The Sheltered Sky over the course of this trip.
