Stunning place to visit particularly for History lovers.
Stunning place to visit particularly for History lovers. So many little sights like diocletians palace, Gregor of Nin statue, Bell tower etc. Even though touristy felt safe throughout and the night life was alive. I would recommend doing the island tour from Split to see places like Vis and HvarGuest review byGaryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Been to many countries in Europe- but they by far exceeded expectations. Beautiful place, sun, sea mountain and nature. The people are one of the most hospitable people, so welcoming and friendly. There is so much history here and just a wonderful place to have a vacation, they also speak English to a high standard and we never felt uneasy. Really good location to also do many things- like visiting Bosnia, Montenegro, Bus tours, boat on sea, swimming and great sea food. Lots of maps at the airport with good recommendation- you can use get your guide online to book or go to the old town by the port and pay for excursions. Beaches and old town close by- use Uber as its cheaper and they have a collection point for pick up and drop off which is easy to find. Avoid all independent cash machines in the old town- as they charge excessive rates and you will pay more than the conversion rate.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
I stayed in Zadar Old Town and enjoyed every minute.
I stayed in Zadar Old Town and enjoyed every minute. Lots of cultural attractions and the possibility for boat trips. Highly important for me as well, that as a lone female non-white traveller I always felt safe and comfortable walking around by myself even in the early hours of the morning.Guest review byKellyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

ChatGPT said: What I like most about Budva is the way it blends the charm of history with the vibrancy of the Adriatic coast. Walking through the narrow cobblestone streets of the Old Town feels like stepping back in time, with its stone houses, hidden courtyards, and centuries-old churches exuding a timeless character. Yet just beyond the ancient walls, the lively beaches and waterfront promenade create an entirely different energy—filled with the scent of the sea, the sound of music drifting from cafés, and the hum of people enjoying the warm Montenegrin sun. It’s this unique contrast—where tradition and modern life meet against a backdrop of turquoise waters and rugged mountains—that makes Budva feel endlessly captivating.Guest review byshenajKosovo - 10.0

Durres is a city of contrast from the Roman ampitheater to the beach, pool and shopping. Tasting the fresh fish from one of the seafront restaurants is a must but make sure you also fill up on byrek and sufflaqe! Pelikan has lots of amazing cakes for sweet treats, Tropikal resort has an amazing pool you can use for the day (1000leke) and the market is a hidden gem for bargains. The bus from the beach at Plepa along to the city Center gets VERY busy but for 40leke saves the stress of driving and trying to park and everywhere is then just a short walk. We love Durres and will be back.Guest review byLucieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Pula is a very nice place with friendly people.
Pula is a very nice place with friendly people. We really, really enjoyed it! The restaurants were great, and there was so much to see and learn. I would recommend a minimum stay of 7 days to fully experience everything the city and surrounding area have to offer.Guest review byChesronNetherlands - 10.0
Very nice city, with wonderful old town and nice beaches.
Very nice city, with wonderful old town and nice beaches. The restaurants are good as well, and anybody can find something to pass the time. The nightlife is very active, there are many oppurtinites to have a party. Who is looking for a more quiet holiday, they should consider book their aparment away from the city center. The beaches are good but sometimes overcrowded. If you plan to visit other places in Istria, Porec is a good "home base". Everything is 50-70km away.Guest review byÁdámHungary - 10.0

Rovinj is a wonderful town with beautiful, Italian style buildings and streets. It’s a fantastic feeling to walk around its streets early in the norning, when there few tourists out there. Mulini beach is a great place to enjoy the sea.Guest review byTiborHungary - 8.0
Beautiful place to visit, but extreme madness in August.
Beautiful place to visit, but extreme madness in August. Traffic and parking are absolutely impossible. Paid garage closes at midnight, so you have no choice but to leave earlier. We did a small group boat tour to the blue cave...nothing special. Avoid the hassle. Our location was too far, and it took 3 hours back and forth, with a short 15-minute swim at the cave, and a crazy, bumpy, uncomfortable ride back and forth. Not recommended if you have neck or back pain. We are young and fit and found it not relaxing at all.Guest review byValentina TurriItaly - 10.0
The city is easily accessible and quite clean.
The city is easily accessible and quite clean. During peak season (July, August) there is traffic but it is manageable. I find majority of the city is walkable. Many restaurants, shops, coffee shops and local markets for groceries available. Beaches have both public and private beaches close to each other. For public beach it is just sand so bring your own umbrella and blanket. Private beaches have chairs and umbrella for €15-25 depending on time of year and beach. Note, beach showers and bathrooms are not the best or they may not exist so need to pre plan a little. Food is good, pizza, seafood, pasta and local cuisine. English is spoken in majority of the shops. The old city is accessible and worth a visit, both at night and day.Guest review byGasi
