We could not fault this place. It exceeded our expectations! The place is very new, modern and clean. The staff are amazing and everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful, always looking to see if everything was ok, but not over doing it! The room (junior suite) was perfect for us and our daughter, very spacious, very clean and comfortable. We had a meal on our first night there and it was one of the best pasta dishes ive had. Nice setting too! Location is perfect, away from any busy streets and up high enough you get a great view if the valley below. Only 10mins drive from Budva old town. Free parking available too. The outside area is very relaxing and we spent some time there and in the pool, we felt very relaxed on the grounds everytime we returned. Hope to one day return!

We had a wonderful stay! The property is really nice, clean and with a lot of caring in all the details (swimming-pool, tennis table, playground for the kids). We had both breakfast and dinner and were very good. It is outside Budva but so much better so you are away from the caos and traffic of Budva, while you ca easily reach the two beautiful beaches of Jaz and Trsteno

Upon our arrival, the hotel upgraded our room and we received a spacious room with an amazing view. The receptionist, Suzana, was kind and attentive — we truly felt she was there for us, helping with everything we needed while traveling with a small baby. Also the pool is amazing 👏

ChatGPT said: What I like most about Budva is the way it blends the charm of history with the vibrancy of the Adriatic coast. Walking through the narrow cobblestone streets of the Old Town feels like stepping back in time, with its stone houses, hidden courtyards, and centuries-old churches exuding a timeless character. Yet just beyond the ancient walls, the lively beaches and waterfront promenade create an entirely different energy—filled with the scent of the sea, the sound of music drifting from cafés, and the hum of people enjoying the warm Montenegrin sun. It’s this unique contrast—where tradition and modern life meet against a backdrop of turquoise waters and rugged mountains—that makes Budva feel endlessly captivating.

We liked our little hotel, the clean watter, little promenade next to hotel, with plenty of restaurants, cocktails bars, icecream places. We stayed mostly on beach. Was just what we needed. For recharging battery’s.

Sveti Stefan is small enough to explore on foot, there is a pretty coastal walkway that is shaded at times. Whilst busy, the beach didn’t feel too overcrowded in August. The one supermarket is a bit pricey, consider taking some essentials with you

The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday. I didn’t like that every beach seemed to be allocated to a Hotel and we had to pay €30 for two beach lounges, but this was everywhere and I guess, just how it is done everywhere. We had a hire car so we were able to also visit Kotor, Tivat, Sveti Stefan and other areas, which were all within an easy drive. The exception being the major roadworks on the E65/80 to Tivat, but these will likely be completed by next summer.

The little haven of an authentic garden, less than 5 minutes from a bustling seaside promenade and beach. Shade to be found all day, place to eat takeout, make yourself a cuppa, or chill with wine you’ve kept in fridge. The sincere hosts: friendly, helpful, available, but living next door so not ever-present. Glad we stayed here and at Rafailovici rather than Boudva - beach options better. ‘Rafailovici tourist office’ is good destination to give taxi on arrival as after that, take narrow street down on right and half way down you’re there. Without luggage the buses back and forth are convenient for Budva. Note Summer 2025 - roadworks between Budva (&Kotor) a nightmare ongoing road building possibly a year - this means significantly higher bus travel time /taxi quotes from airport (Around €60 for 50 min journey although also got €80 quoted). Key jiggling for room 2 a bit of a challenge but otherwise everything spotlessly clean, simple, and comfortable beds.

Beach is perfect, smallest pabbels, clear waters great for sweeming. I’d come bavk for longer stay inwsrmer season. Right on the beach there are several restaurants with good food. My recomendation eould still be restaurant on the top , main road, named Kusto. During summer reservation is needed. I would deffinitelly take a walk to St Stefan beach (20-30min thru pine trees and great beaches Kings beach Milocher & St Stefan beach.

Water is good, but there are some issues with the place. Homeless dogs and cats, garbage and stinky smells when you are going to the beach. Crazy drivers who don’t look for the speed limit and some strange people around.

The beaches are fine, with sunbeds and umbrellas costing about €15 in most places, which isn’t bad. There are also areas where you can rest on the beach and use your own things without anyone saying anything. There are plenty of beaches along the coast and lots of food options. It’s generally quite clean, though, as always, you will find spots that are a bit dirty or look poorly maintained. Overall, it’s okay and a good place to stay if you want to travel north or south. Just remember, traffic can be horrendous – if you get stuck, it could be for a couple of hours. I couldn’t complain about staying there; it was nice, and there were no idiots on the beaches, no people begging. It felt very much like Croatia, except the maintenance could be better. Yes, I would come back here, but I think it will take a few more years before it reaches the point where it could be considered a “luxury” destination. At the moment, there are a lot of hotels being built, and more attention to maintenance and cleaning around the buildings and yards would help attract more financially stable customers.

The town itself is quiet, rustic and elegant, with charming stone architecture and the scent of old olive treas and sea breeze in the air. It’s no wonder royalty once retreated here. I enjoyed local Montenegrin delicias on a shaded terrace each afternoon, soaking in sunsets that felt almost unreal. This isn't just a beach destination, it's a place for true recuperation. I came back feeling rested, centered, and somehow lighter. If you’re looking for more than just a pretty view, if you need to breathe again, Sveti Stefan is where you go.
