We booked one of the apartments for one week and spent basically the whole week there enjoying the beach, the restaurants, the events, etc. We liked everything about the facility: - the cleanness of our apartment and the facility - the equipment of our apartment (oven, coffee machine, stove, fridge, freezer, full kitchen set, washing machine, etc.) - the beautiful private beach - the restaurants (especially "the Spot", "Kiki's" and "the Lighthouse") - the calmness of the place (this was unbelievable) - the people! - the Gym and the Spa - the several events offered by the facility (e.g. Live-Music, Pasta Night, etc.) - the service! (e.g. organisation of transfer, boat taxi to different beaches, etc.) It was such a relaxing and magical stay and we could fully calm down. The town was a big disappointment — the beach feels like a construction site, with houses and villas built right up to the shoreline. No natural shade, lots of concrete, and sharp stones when entering the water. Restaurants are overpriced with bland food. I found the town itself not quite my vibe but the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. When I need to come back I will make sure to rent a car so I an explore more. The town is a great base for that with everything you need for convenience. Just not much to do in itself but great as a base to explore the region I think. I did find a nice ancient Roman path with ruins just walking distance from my accommodation. It wasn’t mentioned on google maps or in local signage. TIVAT IS A WONDERFUL PLACE. ESPECIALLY PORTE MONTENEGRO IS SO BEAUTIFUL. THE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN PORTE MONTENEGRO. LOOKING FORWARD TO GO BACK AGAIN AND STAY AT THE SAME PLACE.
