The air, the tranquility, the local food, the closeness to the capital make Mavrovo an ideal place for a weekend getaway or for a longer stay, in any time of the year. There are several places where you can enjoy a morning coffee, or an afternoon drink and a delicious meal. We are in our seventies and have always gone there for the mountain air and the stunning scenery. Have been there several times before, mainly in the summer, but first time at the Radika Resort. Mavrovo is an awesome location. Beautiful walks around the lake. You need your own transport to visit other localities. In general we find the cooking and food in the area poor. Little eateries around the lake not really to be recommended. That’s why poor food at Radika Resort did not surprise. This is why we usually rent a holiday house and do our own cooking. Excellent supplies of meat and veggies can be bought in Gostivar, 16 kilometers from Leuonovo, village where Radika is located.Guest review byJuneAlbania
