- From US$597.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 89 reviewsIt has been a week since we've come back from paradise on Earth. The beauty of the Maldives cannot be described, but the amazing experience of staying at Dusit Thani Maldives, which was simply perfect, can. To be perfectly honest, almost everything exceeded my (very high) expectation. The resort is a beautiful jungle/garden and cycling through it is a pleasure for all the senses (especially in the evenings, when you can smell frangipani). We have stayed in one of the ocean villas. The views were simply stunning. The villa was very spacious and cosy, and even though the furniture is not brand new, it is full of drama. Plus, they have the most comfortable pillows my head had ever touched. The big highight-and what convinced us to stay in the resort-is the Thai restaurant Benjarong with it amazing chef and staff-we were usually attended by Novika (foodie as myself, so she could provide great recommendation) and James, who was also super nice and attentive. After having dinner at Benjarong the first night, we booked all of our meals there (with the exception for the night of Eid celebration, when we dined on the beach with live local music and dancing-thanks Sharif. I especial recommend the soft shell crab with curry - powder, the lamb chops, and my favourite dish in the universe-the Thai green curry. My husband fell in love with the dessert with water chestnuts and ended up eating it twice a day 🙂 (and of course I ended up taking the Thai cooking class). Another highlight for the foodies was breakfast. while the choices of "western" food, pastries is impressive, my very favourite (and I had it every single day) was the noodles station. Also, make sure you try the passion fruit jam which is to die for. You can always ask Mona (yet another, cheerful foodie) for recommendations. Moving from the food... Above the Thai 'restaurant is the Sata bar. My husband took the cocktail making class there and we met a very gifted bar attender Amita.Guest review byHeribertoFrance
- From US$592.02 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 109 reviewsWe stayed on one of the those water villas with a sunset view. The place was amazing, relaxing, and breath taking all at the same time. There were small sharks and sting rays right in front of our accommodation. We went there mid of April which was towards the end of summer and it rained 2/8 days that we stayed but it was still hot. They had one of these floating breakfast right in front of our room with an amazing view of the Indian Ocean and it is where I did my marriage proposal. The place was clean and the staff were really helpful. Meals were buffet style, no pork or crustaceans as the Maldives is pre dominantly Muslim. At first we were just expecting to chill out and relax in this island but there were activities and excursions as well. Tip: If you are not really into alcohol, Half Board will do you fine. Tip: Make sure your flights in and out of the Maldives matches with your seaplane flight in and out of the smaller islands as seaplanes are not 24hrs. Tip: Bring your own snorkelling equipment, it will save you some money.Guest review byFrankUnited States
- From US$1,460.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 71 reviewsEverything about this property is perfect! The location, service, quality of food, tranquility and everything else just exceeded our expectations. Every meal we had was amazing! Vakku restaurant deserves a Michelin star! Chef Ushan went out of his way to prepare us some fabulous dishes. We had dinner at Vakku restaurant which was one of the most memorable! The service by Ahameday and Mudassir made it even better. Although all the names are not mentioned here, all the staff at this hotel was excellent! This is exactly what you would expect 5 star service to be. The spa treatment was also one of the best! Seeing a sting-ray swim underneath while getting a massage was priceless! Another one of our highlights was snorkeling near the blue hole with so many beautiful marine life Including reef sharks. The Overall experience at Vakkaru Maldives was simply amazing!Guest review byChamikaSri Lanka
- From US$651.98 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 60 reviews- everything was amazing!! the island is beautiful, big enough but not too big. The intimacy of each customer is a priority for the hotel. - the entire staff was absolutely incredible, I’ve never experienced such quality of service. thank you for your kindness - food was delicious: especially breakfast and Crab Shack restaurant. It was amazing. - a lot of cool activities were proposed - sand bank + the beach were more than beautiful, there’s no word. The color of the sand and of the sea is stunning. I could stay the entire day on my sunbed which were amazing by the way, and a very kind waiter was bringing us some water / cocktails - our beach room was huge, so nice, the bed was amazing. The bathroom was the bathroom of my dreams - no mosquitos at all - arrival at the airport, with a private lounge.Guest review byAnastasiaFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 316 reviewsI like everything! The island and beach was amazing with a nice coral reef where we saw mantas, a turtle and many nice fishes. The room was super clean, big and comfortable with a nice open bathroom. Facilities like pool and main bar were very nice. The karaoke night was funny and dive center had two nice excursions that we did...one for snorkeling with turtles and one for snorkeling at reethi Island where we saw sharks and turtles too. Possibly I could like more options for group activities for snorkeling. The beach was very clean ad well as all the island. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with many types of food every day. Staff was very efficient and nice. I loved the surprise for my birthday...it was really unexpected! We really relaxed and we will miss reethi beach resort!!!Guest review byValeriaItaly
- From US$769.79 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 248 reviewsstaff was so friendly, polite, very welcoming, and helpful the arrangements from our arrival to Male airport and then the seaplane to the island and then the same arrangements on the day of departure from the island via the seaplane to Male airport and handling the luggage. I didn't think about anything. I didn't suffer from any thing. They arranged everything well. The food was nice and the all inclusive package was competitive. the complementary they gave to me, sunset cruise, diving, and massage. It was really amazing experience with Coco Palm.Guest review byFawry_vipSaudi Arabia

The location was absolutely perfect—right on the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sea whenever we wanted. The hotel is great value for money. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options to start the day. Excursions were a lot of fun, very reasonably priced and we had something to do every day. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday! If we will return to Maldives, we will stay here again.Guest review byReinisLatvia

The food was superb, the beach was well maintained and in excellent condition. The corals around the island were thriving much better than when I saw them in 2007. The dive center was very well organized and the trip was very good. The staff were very very well organized and attentive and made sure everything was not left for chance or unclear. They cleaned the rooms twice per day.Guest review byAhmedKuwait

We liked almost everything.
We liked almost everything. Our vacation was relaxing and beautiful. The beach was perfect, with soft almost white sand and warm, clear blue water. The bungalow was was really cozy with sun set view. Snorkeling we saw sharks, turtles, so many amazing small fishes. And they were almost near our place. We had wonderful neighbors and made new friendships.Guest review byDaniela AntonovaSpain - 10.0

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.Guest review byC_OutriggerBelgium - 10.0
The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash.
The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash. The sand bank is so beautiful and waters are coming with so amazing colors. I believe everyone traveled to Fulhadhoo was amazed by its beauty and tranquility. I do wish Fulhadhoo keeps its identity as exquisite, exclusive and pure inhabited islands open for travelers without increasing any unnecessary commercials. Just one thing for this island, the East sand band is soooo beautiful with its own serenity but I don’t understand why almost every day someone is burning rubber trash nearby which makes the sunrise time and mid-noon amazing waters time so unpleasant.Guest review by鲁西西China - 10.0

Maalhos is the ultimate getaway for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nestled in the Maldives, it offers breathtaking views that will make you want to linger forever. The island is a hidden gem, perfect for those seeking tranquility. Picture-perfect beaches stretch out before you, inviting you to unwind and soak in the natural beauty. The wild forest adds a sense of adventure, giving you the chance to explore and connect with nature in its purest form. The vibrant reef is a must-see, and it’s easily accessible right from the shore—perfect for snorkelers or anyone keen on diving into the rich marine life. What truly stands out about Maalhos, though, is the local community. The people are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Their warmth and hospitality add a special touch that truly makes you feel at home. If you're after a peaceful escape, stunning scenery, and a welcoming community, Maalhos is the place to be. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking an idyllic, laid-back retreat!Guest review byPetya ValkovaBulgaria - 8.0

Fehendoo is beautiful but it is very remote and not much to do on the island. It is great for relaxing and having downtime. Definitely do snorkeling and scuba if you can. The fishing wasn't what I expected. It was more like going out and watching a local fisherman fish. The island is very small. You can walk it but bikes were the best way to get around. I wouldn't take small children. It would be best for a secluded adult getaway.Guest review byJasonUnited States - 10.0

Transfer disaster, we waited 3 hours instead of 1 hour after a very long journey. The beach is protected by sandbags, pieces of which can be found everywhere in the sea and on the beach. Waste water is released into the ocean, the reef is completely destroyed. Garbage is burned on the island, so it's smoky and stinky.Guest review byFodorHungary - 10.0
A beautiful island, lovingly maintained.
A beautiful island, lovingly maintained. Despite its age, it is in very good condition, clean and comfortable. We lived in room 222 - cozy and cool. Professional and friendly staff. All issues are resolved promptly and kindly. The food is beyond praise, a real culinary show. The reefs are alive, with diverse wildlife: sharks, turtles and fish. Nice live music. Special thanks to manager Nipun for his warm and professional support.Guest review byAngelikaLuxembourg - 10.0
Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip.
Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip. Walking around was really relaxing as this island is QUIET! Personal highlights were playing volleyball with the locals (free court with lights, started at 9 and we went on until midnight!). Also Coral Boutique is a must visit - blue whale bones, and owner is super interesting to talk to! Don't leave the island without visiting the store! DFC for food is a must.Guest review byBogga SnrUnited Kingdom - 10.0
