- From £373.42 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 170 reviewsWe visited Hideaway resort in February 2023. It was our best Maldives trip ever. We would like to highlight first the team spirit , the service and the management support during the entire trip. Secondly we loved our beach sunset villa (110) the interior, the size of the villa was outstanding. Beautiful view to the beach, super size garden for the kids with a cool pool. If you like snorkel or dive it’s the best place to visit. To find the marine life is literally 3 steps from the beach. I would recommend to take the all inclusive package to not worry about your food and beverage during your stay. ( specially if you drink alcohol ;-) We took that option and was a best choice. I would like to mention a few people and staff but actually the entire team was outstanding. In the restaurant: Shahid who serve us the best breakfast ;-) iIn Meeru Bar: Sonai who served the best food for us, Adi & Agus who run tireless with our cocktail. For families with kids: the kids club offers fantastic activities for the whole day. Our kids (11 and 9 years old) enjoyed it so much, it was hard to take them out of it. There is only one area what they should improve: the transfer from/to Male. As the island is far from the capital, there is only one seaplane per day so you most probably need to take the domestic flight and count with longer travel time. But beside that, the resort, the facilities beside that, the resort, the facilities and the service is perfect! We couldn’t expect more! Diving center: Sara who managed for us many beautiful diving courses. Resort Manager / GM Amir & Christophe who always keen to provide the best solution. Last but not least our butler Muson, who support us during the entire holiday with passion and creativity!Guest review byElekSwitzerland
- From £776.43 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 412 reviewsMy girlfriend and I stayed one week at the Emerald. As you land onto the Emerald docks from a seaplane, the hotel's staff welcomes you with a big smile and says "welcome to paradise." Although it sounds a bit cliche, they couldn't be more right: Emerald and the Maldives are paradise on earth. I've stayed at my fair share of hotels and resorts and this one wins them all. We would like to thank the following team members at Emerald for making our stay incredible: - Dave, our host who planned everything in advance (restaurants, diving, fishing, etc) and took us wherever we wanted on the island with his golf cart. - Yossi, for making an immaculate room every single day (and sometimes multiple times a day). - Janna, for coaching through our Open Water Diver PADI. Jenna is an exceptional young lady. - Fayaz, for welcoming us to and giving a tour of the island. You can book your stay with Emerald without worries because they will make your trip unforgettable.Guest review byJosephFrance
- From £482.57 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 60 reviews- everything was amazing!! the island is beautiful, big enough but not too big. The intimacy of each customer is a priority for the hotel. - the entire staff was absolutely incredible, I’ve never experienced such quality of service. thank you for your kindness - food was delicious: especially breakfast and Crab Shack restaurant. It was amazing. - a lot of cool activities were proposed - sand bank + the beach were more than beautiful, there’s no word. The color of the sand and of the sea is stunning. I could stay the entire day on my sunbed which were amazing by the way, and a very kind waiter was bringing us some water / cocktails - our beach room was huge, so nice, the bed was amazing. The bathroom was the bathroom of my dreams - no mosquitos at all - arrival at the airport, with a private lounge.Guest review byAnastasiaFrance
- From £383.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,537 reviewsStayed 11 nights my fiancee to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. Amazing staff, extremely friendly, kind and nice. Our butler - Noble, was exceptional, incredibly thoughtful person. Our housekeeper was amazing man, always kept our room in impeccable condition. Waiter - Nawwaf, absolutely kind and a real maldivian! The resort is very hospitable, I will really miss everyone! Food - great, lots of varieties, especially I was keen on desserts and curries :) Fitness facilities that I used: tennis, badminton, table tennis - again extremely kind gentleman and very loyal too (working for the resort 20 years). I really advise everyone who is looking to book this place, you will be in secure and good hands. We will be back with our family next time :)Guest review byIrineGeorgia
- From £2,043.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 91 reviewsThis was our second stay at this property with a few years between… and Milaidhoo is even better now than when it first opened. The staff were exceptional. The food was impeccable, wonderfully highlighting Maldivian cuisine amongst a range of international dishes. The wine list holds its own against any Michelin starred restaurant, featuring the best wines of the new and old world. The resort reef is an absolute pleasure to snorkel or dive, and it’s within a few meters of the beach! Unlike many other reefs in SE Asia and the Pacific, there is no pollution here. We had some very heavy downpours during our stay over NYE but the staff accommodated, adapted and moved the events under cover without missing a beat. Simply exceptional.Guest review byAnuschirawanAustralia
- From £199.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 141 reviewsThe room was kept very clean, being serviced twice a day. The pool belonging to the villa was fantastic and was kept very clean. The service in the restaurant was excellent, with a special mention to Musafir! The dive centre was well organised, as were the dives. The diving at the local reef is not the best though. The beaches around the resort are very nice and kept clean. There is a lot to do for children and they are very welcome everywhere in the resort.Guest review byNiklaus KoenigNorway

We liked almost everything.
We liked almost everything. Our vacation was relaxing and beautiful. The beach was perfect, with soft almost white sand and warm, clear blue water. The bungalow was was really cozy with sun set view. Snorkeling we saw sharks, turtles, so many amazing small fishes. And they were almost near our place. We had wonderful neighbors and made new friendships.Guest review byDaniela AntonovaSpain - 10.0

The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. Jr and Anastasia from the club house coordinators are amazing and multi talented individuals. Don’t miss their daily sport activities by the pool.Guest review byJawid KaderiUnited States - 10.0

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.Guest review byC_OutriggerBelgium - 10.0

Overall, it’s an excellent place to destress or spend time w families or just a couple retreat! Very organized from the airport in Male to our final destination in the resort and vice versa. It was our first time in Maldives and we immediately felt safe knowing that someone was waiting for us to give us guide and navigate the how’s and do’s.Guest review byGroverUnited States - 2.0
Says that you get transportation to the island.
Says that you get transportation to the island. We paid for 6 nights and 5 days and got kicked out at 0300 am even though check out was at 1200. They made us leave 12 hours early because the free transfer was NOT free. We then had to sit and sleep in airports all day. They said we could pay an extra $289 per person to get the seaplane or we had to leave at 0300 and robbed us of a full day and have refused to reimburse us. In addition to this, my partner was drugged while staying there and the staff did nothing to help us or accommodate us. I would NOT stay in this place ever again!!!! It reads on their website that seaplane is free to island. They got us way late on the first day, and made us leave 12 hours early on the final day and have refused to comp us for the final day. I would NEVER stay here again nor would I recommend other guests to stay here. Everything was an additional upgraded cost, most activities were cancelled or non existent, or were additional costs. It is also very sad that this place turned out not to be safe since my partner was roofied while staying here and the staff expressed no concern by this.Guest review byMalloryUnited States - 10.0

The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash.
The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash. The sand bank is so beautiful and waters are coming with so amazing colors. I believe everyone traveled to Fulhadhoo was amazed by its beauty and tranquility. I do wish Fulhadhoo keeps its identity as exquisite, exclusive and pure inhabited islands open for travelers without increasing any unnecessary commercials. Just one thing for this island, the East sand band is soooo beautiful with its own serenity but I don’t understand why almost every day someone is burning rubber trash nearby which makes the sunrise time and mid-noon amazing waters time so unpleasant.Guest review by鲁西西China - 10.0

Excellent choice of food in the restaurant, beaches clean but varied from nice soft sand to gritty coral sand. The east side of the jetty the sea was choppy like a mill pond on the west side of the jetty. Resort was busy but never difficult to find tables in restaurant or seating in bars.Guest review bysueUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The overall stay was absolutely wonderful with exceptional...
The overall stay was absolutely wonderful with exceptional service. We were well treated by the representatives of the resort right from the airport, throughout our vacation until we took off. The Sea plane journey was a new experience and we loved it. Mr. Bharat received us with a warm welcome to the resort. We had a personal butler, Mr. Niyaz who gave us a wonderful service. We really loved the ambiance, and the privacy that water villas provided. We enjoyed snorkeling too. Every country follows different cultures and different cuisines. Most of the countries have their own culture, food, style and they like to follow it that way only. Must be keeping this in mind the resort has a variety if cuisines which was delectable. Staffs in all the restaurants were very polite and always ready to serve. Ms. DeviRani, incharge of Indian Cuisine (Sufuraa Restaurant) was very friendly and sweet. Coming to drinks, there were all types of drinks(Alcoholic/Non-Alcoholic). We even got a chance to make our own cocktail. Halaboli bar(bar with the pool) had daily night DJs which should not be missed. There were lot of water activities we could try with additional charges. Also we had a complementary 30 mts spa which was so relaxing. Coming to beach, the water was very clear and there are no words to describe its beauty. The turquoise color of the calm water was so addictive and we could just spend hours in it. We did snorkeling twice a day. We were even lucky to see a sting ray, which the resort staff said is not a common spot. The swing located a little inside the beach was a real beauty to watch. And near the shore we could spot small shark and school of fish. Without thinking twice, I can say this with confidence that it is definitely worth a visit. They do not provide food after 10 which was a little inconvenient. But we get drinks anytime.Guest review byLiya JonesIndia - 10.0
A beautiful island, lovingly maintained.
A beautiful island, lovingly maintained. Despite its age, it is in very good condition, clean and comfortable. We lived in room 222 - cozy and cool. Professional and friendly staff. All issues are resolved promptly and kindly. The food is beyond praise, a real culinary show. The reefs are alive, with diverse wildlife: sharks, turtles and fish. Nice live music. Special thanks to manager Nipun for his warm and professional support.Guest review byAngelikaLuxembourg
