- From US$875.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 308 reviewsFrom the arrival when you’re welcomed to the lounge everything was great! The lounge itself is comfortable and with quality food, anyone landing after a long trip will find some relaxation there while waiting for the seaplane transfer (which is managed by TMA not the resort directly, sometimes you have to wait a bit to get the plane), lounge has also space and playground for children to make them comfortable and relax parents. The island is a true pearl, very well maintained and with good reef and beaches. You’re welcomed by an ambassador which will support any request during your stay, I take the opportunity to thank mine, Rilwan, for the hospitality and assistance. All your stay and activities can be managed with an application on your smartphone. You can eat at buffet or you can book Rome restaurant (Italian) or beach grill. Both have great food choices and great view to relax your eyes and mind while di in and drinking! Buffet’s food is good as well and for breakfast you have a rich offering. All service is awesome and everyone tries to be helpful. My room was as expected, spectacular view over the lagoon and the sunset. Thanks to the nice Alamin for taking care of the room with respect. The bathtub facing the open ocean is an amazing experience. The reef is beautiful in the east/north side of the island with many fishes and corals. And you’ll meet the usual reef sharks which are so nice. Also some stingrays hangs around. Overall, a great place within the unique context of a Maldivian getaway.Guest review byGiuseppeItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 43 reviewsFrom the moment we arrived at Six Senses Laamu, we knew we were in for a treat. The warm welcome from the staff, the stunning views of the turquoise waters, and the peaceful ambiance of the island all contributed to a sense of relaxation and tranquility. We would like to extend a special thank you to Shah for going above and beyond to make our stay at Six Senses Laamu truly unforgettable. Your attentiveness and support made our experience remarkable. We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to making our vacation a dream come true. Thank you, Shah! The beaches at Six Senses Laamu are some of the most beautiful we have ever seen, and we were impressed with the hotel's commitment to sustainability and care for marine life and animals. It was heartwarming to see the efforts being made to protect the environment and preserve the natural beauty of the island. The food at Six Senses Laamu was exceptional, and we especially loved the breakfast with its broad range of choices. The waffles were a particular highlight, and we looked forward to them every morning. Overall, our stay at Six Senses Laamu exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you to everyone who made our experience so memorable, and we cannot wait to return in the future.Guest review byOlgaRussia
- From US$1,004.68 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 111 reviewsIn my opinion, this is the best place on earth to relax and disconnect from the craziness of everyday life. This is also the only resort in the Maldives that I have no hesitation returning to. The staff, the food and the facilities are fabulous, but the best thing about this place is the house reef with its beautiful marine life. Nothing beats swimming with and amongst the beautiful fish and countless other sea creatures. You can't experience that in places offering just a blue lagoon. The water is crystal clear when the weather is good, the sand is soft, and you are not stepping - and shouldn't anyway - on any corals. You have to swim a bit to get to them. The staff at the restaurant are lovely and very happy to accommodate any special requests guests might have, but quite frankly, I doubt they have to do it often as the variety of dishes offered is plentiful and very well prepared. I love staying at this resort and will be heading there again in a few days' time. I can hardly wait! I highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit the Maldives and have the best experience possible.Guest review bySvetlaBelgium

If you are on a budget, using the local ferry's are a big save in regards to travel and make Island hopping do able. They are 3 time the length of time, at 1 tenth of the price of a speedboat. We still enjoyed sitting out front and watching the dolphins swim with the boat. The trip back was empty and we chatted to the crew. (30 min speedboat vs 1h30 Ferry) The Ferry goes ever 2 days so we did the Maafushi to Fulidhoo, slept 2 nights then got onto it again from Thinadhoo. Two beautiful Islands.Guest review bymorneSouth Africa - 10.0
I enjoyed pretty much everything.
I enjoyed pretty much everything. It was a super place to go for a one week holiday. You're a captivated audience on such a small island but there was more than enough to keep you occupied for the week. The food was excellent, the staff extremely supportive and I think that RIU have a near perfect arrangement for the 'all inclusive' experience.Guest review byStuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Amazing resort I would highly recommend.
Amazing resort I would highly recommend. This was our second stay at Kandima and our experience exceeded the first. Good selection of meals provided throughout the day and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our shuttle bus driver Gasimm was very patient and informative on the ecosystem. Excellent facilities for children.Guest review byClarkeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

If you ever can go to Maldives, there is only one place: Madifushi Private Islands. It's a new heaven on earth, and the experience will blow you away. The activities, the SPA, the food, the staff, Sacha, the manager [Omar], the room service the views. I can't stop, honestly. Never been to a better place.Guest review byAllen O.United Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely island that can be walked around in 20-30 mins.
Lovely island that can be walked around in 20-30 mins. Great sandy beaches, beautiful crystal clear waters, plenty of sea life (fish, rays, turtles, reef sharks etc) that all can be observed from the beach or from your over-water bungalow. One side of the island looks out to open sea and the other side of the islands looks towards neighboring islands in the same atoll. The walk from the room to the reception area or the restaurant or the dive shop are all 5-10 mins (but some rooms are much closer to the facilities such as the beach bungalows). Our room was 501 which was one of the Pool Suites. There are 4 pool suites in total. Room 501 has access to the snorkeling reef and at low tide you can enjoy your own private swimming pool. The staff said that Room 501 was the best of the Pool Suites so ask for this room specifically. The restaurant has an amazing selection of food from many different cultures (Indian, Sri Lankan, Maldives, Japanese, Korean, western cuisine...) and always an abundance of fresh produce, fruits, salads. If you take up the All Inclusive dining package then all meals and drinks - even cocktails by the pool - are included. Also included the mini bar in your room however this is only restocked daily. The facilities are clean, the staff are friendly and always willing to help. The room was cleaned daily and the pool was cleaned every 2nd day. What I really appreciated was the pool cleaner asking me if I wanted to add chlorine to the pool. I opted to NOT add chlorine as the pool water flows over the infinity edge into the reef. Having the pool vacuumed every 2nd day was also not necessary but the staff were happy to assist and wanted to make sure you had a great stay. We visited Velifushi in April 2024 which was lovely weather around 32 Deg C. We had a few brief storms that lasted no more than 10 mins during the early hours of the morning but the daytimes were great weather. Highly recommend Velifushi to you.Guest review byPablo_123Australia - 10.0

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left they made us feel so welcome and so special. Everyone in the team just wanted to ensure that we had the best time. From the captain/boss Ahmed, to John the host, to Arbi and the waiters, the chef and through to all the guys on the boat. We got to know them all and felt like part of a family. I couldn’t recommend it enough and if we could afford to, we’d go back next week! If you want the bustle of a big resort, then maybe this is not for you, but if you want to be somewhere that celebrates the beauty of nature and all that the Maldives has to offer, with people who love to show that to you, then this is the place for you. We felt like we knew the whole team by the end, they were all so genuine and thoughtful and caring. We’ve seldom had such personal attentive service and we’ve stayed in many places around the world, and they made our 25th anniversary such a special evening. If you want beauty, nature, simplicity, comfort, good food, great service and fantastic adventures with amazing attention to detail then just book Thari Fushi. We miss you all!Guest review byAlexisUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I loved everything! It was amazing!
I loved everything! It was amazing! The people, the view, the quiet island, the snorkeling with sharks and rays… 😍 Just the food, sometimes a little expensive for a simple salad or pasta (but still very affordable), and the bed a little hard (but we still slept very well!).Guest review byMarineFrance - 8.0
You can have a good snorkeling and beach experience here.
You can have a good snorkeling and beach experience here. The islanders far outnumber the tourists. The island is generally quiet and clean but it does have a lot of modern infrastructure in a small area. We didn’t dive but there is a local dive shop. We also saw several live aboards anchored nearby so the diving must be good.Guest review byChristineCanada - 10.0

Beautiful resort connected to two islands with a 1 km wooden bridge on top of the sea. The water pool Villa was amazing and quiet. The sky at night had all the starts in view. The personnel of the hotel friendly and attentive, would say “hello” and “good morning” to everyone. There are golf buggies to take you from all the places of the islands you are (waiting time was 5 to 15 min max). They offered us bicycles to move around and the vegetation in the islands was lash and fantastic. The only thing I would suggest is more options of food items at the buffet, lunch/dinner. If I compare the buffet lunch/dinners at the Residence Zanzibar… it has a big difference.Guest review byElliGreece - 10.0
I recently had the pleasure of staying at NOOE Maldives...
I recently had the pleasure of staying at NOOE Maldives Kunaavashi, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This small island paradise is the perfect getaway, offering an intimate, serene atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in your own private slice of heaven. The location is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by crystal-clear, pure waters that are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The beaches are pristine, with soft white sand and plenty of space to relax in the sun. It’s the perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of nature. What set this experience apart, though, was the exceptional staff. From the moment I arrived, everyone was so welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. Whether it was arranging activities or offering personalized recommendations, the staff made me feel truly valued and cared for throughout my stay. With lots of sunshine, incredible beaches, and a location that feels both remote and luxurious, NOOE Maldives Kunaavashi is the ideal destination for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the Maldives in a peaceful, intimate setting.Guest review byIonIreland
