- From £989.33 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 75 reviewsWe had a great time at this wonderful resort. It is only some 45 mins by boat from Male. The staff are extremely kind and courteous. The team responsible for sea excursions is very informative and helpful. The restaurant provides a great variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were booked at half board and there were plenty of options to have a snack during the day at very reasonable prices. The room had all the needed amenities and was cleaned twice a day. Each room had its allocated sun beds in an idyllic environment. It takes around 15/20 minutes to walk around the island to see nature at its best. The sea immediately around this island is already beautiful to swim in and snorkel. The excursions to nearby reefs add to the experience of seeing turtles, mantas, harmless nurse sharks and all kinds of colourful fish (some of which can be seen in the vicinity of the hotel) . The island is very welcoming, well kept and very clean. A place to revisit time and time again.Guest review byAlfredMalta
- From £313.36 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,354 reviewsWe got a villa at sufficient distance from the main beach - such a gateway on the island! The furnishings, the design, the open plan bathroom are a total delight. The flora and fauna of the island are fascinating. There are some dead coral in the beach sand in front of the villa, but this is not a problem. The hotel and restaurant staff are very helpful, the cooks are cheerful and friendly, the menu is varied and delicious. There is no crowd, everything is calm and decent. Transfer is clearly organized. Our first experience on Maldives was very positive.Guest review byPavelGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 792 reviewsAmazing food - really delicious, wide variety, even pork Really nice and lovely staff at the restaurant Maakana (also at the beach bar and housekeeping) Overwater bungalow needs little bit of love but very nice and cozy (recommend to take shoes to the water because of the rocky ocean bottom) but it would need some minor repairs and renovations Good arrangement of arrival and departure Overall, except communication problems written in :(, very lovely stay (our first at Maldives and hope not the last)Guest review byLucieCzech Republic
- From £429.23 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,160 reviewsEverything was exceptional. Our room was prepared every evening for 'wind down', the staff were all very friendly. Meals at the buffet restaurant and ala carte restaurants were beyond expectations. The all-inclusive package was very worth it, although there's only so much we could eat! I love the quietness and exclusivity of the 700+ over-water villas, and we witnessed the most gorgeous sunsets and sunrise at the resort. I'm so glad I chose the Meeru resort for my first-trip to Maldives!Guest review byLi Ling SerenaSingapore
- From £135.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,593 reviewsStayed here the first week of February. Beautiful weather, resort, rooms, bikini beach just outside, breakfast ok with egg station. Adriano, Mr Bucket-Hat-Man. is the best. Arranging what ever you need, private boats, excursions and answering general question you may have. Bob at the reception is outmost helpful and smiling all the time. The staff is all very helpsome and attentive. Arena Bech Hotel is the place to be when you visit K.Maafushi. Highly recommended 10/10Guest review byErikNorway
- From £469.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 643 reviewsWe came back to Velassaru after 10 years and our time there was sensational. What really stands out is the natural beaty of the island. During our stay, we have seen dolphins, manta rays, sea turtles and sharks. Furthermore, the hotel staff is incredibly friendly and competent. Big complements also to the sous chef Wasantha and his team. We will come back very soon!Guest review byBeneAustria

I have been to several One & Only resorts and can honestly say that the Reethi Rah is by far the best of them , every aspect of the property was superb. I would like to thank our “butler” Soukaina for her excellent personal service. In fact all the staff deserve recognition for their work, they were so helpful and friendly.Guest review byGrahamUnited Kingdom

One of the most beautiful places in the world.
One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.Guest review byÁkosHungary - 10.0

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.Guest review byNigelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!Guest review byInaNorway - 10.0
We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!Guest review byClannyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!Guest review byLaurenL97United Kingdom - 8.0
It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach.
It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.Guest review byVladimirSerbia - 10.0

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !Guest review byDarinaSlovakia - 8.0

Airport help desk doesn't know anything about Himmafushi.
Airport help desk doesn't know anything about Himmafushi. It was tough to manage a boat to Himmafushi from the airport. However, the beach was nice. I enjoyed the scene of small fishes near around the beach.Guest review bySakibur RahmanBangladesh
