The interiors are absolutely gorgeous. Every detail, from the grand entrance to the tranquil courtyard, has been lovingly preserved and tastefully updated. Our room was spacious, airy, and refreshingly cool – a perfect retreat after wandering through the tropical heat. The pool is a hidden jewel – calm, inviting, and surrounded by lush greenery. We spent hours there unwinding. And the complimentary all-day lounge? What a fantastic idea! Whether you need a quick snack, a cold drink, or just a quiet corner to relax, it’s always available and beautifully stocked. But what truly elevates The Edison to a class of its own is the exceptional staff. They are the very soul of this hotel – warm, professional, and endlessly helpful. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, every single person we encountered went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. Their restaurant recommendations were outstanding, and they gave us wonderful tips for excursions that made our stay unforgettable. The Edison isn’t just a hotel – it’s an experience. This was one of the best stay in Penang! We booked the queen room and the room was spotless clean. The bathroom was very clean too. I am a person who is very particular of the bathroom cleanliness and this place matched my expectations. Thank you for highlighting on Booking.com that you have a bidet in your toilets. Not sure of others, but I choose my place to stay based on tbe availability of bidet and level of cleanliness. The room also had a great window with a sitting space that we could just sit, read and relax. It was very easy liasing for the place with great customer service. The servicing agent/ owner was very friendly. They have a very kind and friendly helper too! Loved my stay so much and thank you for the wonderful accomodation. Please maintain this service and cleanliness.
