- From € 366.37 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 204 reviewsWe stayed 3 nights in this beautiful and amazing lodge nestled overlooking Mount Etjo in Okonjati game reserves. The rooms are spacious and clean with beautiful palm trees and nice lawn. The staffs were helpful and friendly specially Natasha, Kylie & Cornelius. The game drive was decent and the lion feed is a must see. Rooms are well equipped with power aockets unlike most farms or lodges. ( Perhaps more commercially run) The dining area is unique setting out of this world. If you like a nice lodge with superb clean rooms and environment setting then this is awesome. If you prefer private and bespoke lodge maybe you can skip this as it’s more commercially run with bus load of tourists sometimes.Guest review byHui KiatSingapore
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 330 reviewsWhat a special place with fantastic views and very friendly and helpful staff. I was looking for somewhere different for a birthday suprise and this was just perfect. The room was large, spacious with a terrific view and had the added bonus of a small kitchen area. We took the evening wild cat feeding and wildlife drive which was most educational, introducing us to a number of animals we had not seen before. This was followed by a most enjoyable meal and the opportunity to sit outside on the large open verandah listening to the night sounds. Would loved to have stayed a second night, hopefully we will be back.Guest review byDavidItaly
- From € 67.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,791 reviewsA very pleasant stay: the property is well kept and welcoming, with a nice pool that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was varied and plentiful and the buffet dinner was very good. The dining room’s décor was by far the most beautiful of our entire trip. The owner was extremely kind and gave us excellent suggestions, including a lovely craft market to visit in Windhoek. Convenient location for a stopover, with the bonus of secure parking.Guest review bySilviaItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 136 reviewsWe had been looking forward to visiting the Cheetah Conservation Fund for a long time, and our 2 days there far exceeded our expectations. Not only the excursions, the Cheetah run, Behind the Scenes etc but very much the hospitality of Winnie and especially Himee, what fine people you are. The room, appartment actually and the food are top notch. In short, CCF is a must visit if you love Cheetahs and want to enjoy them in a comfortable way.Guest review byLexNetherlands

Otjiwarongo Railway Station with a locomotive worked between 1912-1960 is a real attraction. We visited the Cultural Center where 14+ children have the opportunity of dancing, playing on instruments, painting, drawing and so on after the school. Also we visited the Multi-Purpose Help Centre, where Monica Tjehiua presented the goals of the MPHC, which -for instance- feed the poor children, and organize lots of programs for the disabled persons, supporting old people. From Otjiwarongo it's quite easy to reach the Cheetah Foundation (40-45 km) and the Waterberg Plateau Game Reserve (80 km) as well.Guest review byEndreHungary - 10.0
This is a perfect halfway house from Etosha to Windhoek.
This is a perfect halfway house from Etosha to Windhoek. We left Etosha to travel south, visiting the Cheetah Conservation Foundation at Otjiwarongo and then enjoying a relaxed dinner and evening at Out of Town Africa Lodge. Our stay was perfect. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was relaxed, we were not the early birds, but we were not rushed away by the staff. I highly recommend this little gem of a town and place to stay.Guest review byRachaelSouth Africa
