Francisco and his family were the perfect hosts, they make you feel very at home and part of the family. For an authentic Nicaraguan stay I highly recommend staying here, a great find. Accommodation was clean, hammocks were great for relaxing in after the day out in the canyon. In short, exceptional value for money with a great family, don’t miss out!

The family running the hostel is so kind and warm. They try to accommodate all your needs. The food they serve is local and tasty. Simple facilities but functional. Location was perfect! Right in Somoto canyon and the nature is amazing. Breakfast was a super good, a typical Nicaraguan breakfast. The staff was so friendly and took care of us super well!

This stay was great! The owner of the hostel is the best! He took us on a really nice canyoning trip and knows a lot about the area! The breakfast is also of good quality. He even bought us tickets for the expreso bus to Managua. We really recommend this place!!

We really enjoyed staying at casa ROMA! Sandra, the lovely owner, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived 😍 She helped us arranging a tour in the somoto canyon which was amazing! The apartment is everything you need. It has a cute kitchen that is well equipped. The rooms are clean and we slept good! Thankyou very much Sandra, i hope we could come back one day 🌞
