Sogndal is a perfect home base if you want to spend a couple of days exploring the Sognefjord. It is the right size for walking around either day or night. People are very friendly and helpful. We didn’t like that the owner is advertising pictures with a view of the fiord from the cabin and we could see only two cabins in front of us!! Pictures which he used are taken from a different cabin on the property. It was also hard to get hold of him. It took us 1 and half hour.
