- From £205.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 453 reviewsIf someone wants to feel and taste Norway, this is the perfect place for them. We were enchanted by this place. The hotel covers a beautiful, well-kept area with many historical buildings. We were accommodated in a pet-friendly cottage. It was clean, warm and equipped with all the necessary equipment. There was a spacious parking lot next to the building. The service was very nice and very helpful. It was an amazing experience for us to be able to visit the palace and some of its rooms. The breakfasts also delighted us. They were prepared with local products from local suppliers. They were extremely varied and prepared entirely by the hotel kitchen. For the first time I had the opportunity to taste rhubarb jam and other wonderful dishes. There is a garden at the back of the kitchen. In addition, the kitchen uses fresh spices. For us, the advantage was also the shopping center, which is located nearby (where we could do some shopping for our onward journey). Whenever we are nearby, we will definitely use this hotel again and recommend it to our friends.Guest review byAnnaPoland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 1,587 reviewsI only stayed one night so I can’t say much but our room and the bathroom were very clean and spacious (and furnished nicely). Breakfast (included in my price) was also very nice with a big variety of foods to choose from. The location is also very good. There is also a storage room available to keep the luggage after check out without any extra fee. If I ever find myself in Trondheim again I will definitely consider staying here again.Guest review byGabrielaPoland

This is a great city. One of Norway's largest in fact.
This is a great city. One of Norway's largest in fact. We took a bike tour and learned about it. The city houses the Norwegian Rock and Roll Hall of fame museum which was fun to check out. We had an AMAZING dinner at Kalas and Canasta. Couldn't recommend any higher. The staff and food was chef's kiss. There is live music around the city and super walkable. We got lucky with the weather. It was roughly 78 and sunny when we were there.Guest review byKathrynUnited States - 10.0

The town definitely deserves the UNESCO status that it has the buildings date back from the 16th century and with the history of the copper mines makes it all more interesting. The wooden buildings are exceptional and the insight of how the miners used to live. It gives you food for thoughtGuest review byJeanFrance - 10.0

Malvik provided easy access to Trondheim and the many museums and historical sites to see in the area. The neighborhood had a fireworks show for New Year's Eve that was withing walking distance and fun for the whole family. The beaches looked very nice, too, but as we were there in winter, we didn't spend time on the beaches.Guest review bySandraUnited States - 6.0

This house is really in need of fixing up and refurbishing. It is old but had all that we needed. Large bedroom that sleeps four. Good lounge, dining and kitchen area. Close to town. A bustling and vibrant city, where the friendliness and enthusiasm of the locals is contagious! We were travelling through to the Arctic Circle on motorbikes and this was a much needed hotel stop. Trondheim is a charming, compact city that can be easily explored on foot within a day or two. Highlights include the bustling local market at the Torg and the majestic Nidaros Cathedral. The city boasts a diverse culinary scene, offering everything from Continental to Asian cuisine, with plenty of options for vegan and vegetarian travellers. Well-connected to the rest of Norway, Trondheim is accessible by bus, train, and also features an airport for convenient travel.Guest review bySUNDERIndia - 8.0

The town was bustling in the evening with lots of folks out and about, dining and shopping. We were looking for authentic Norwegian food that we did not find. There were a few musicians playing in the evening which was nice. We also thought the food was pricy compared with other cities in Norway.Guest review byLAURIEUnited States
