A beautiful place! The garden is lovely and the rooms look great. We were in the jungle with the owner, Papu, for many days. He is a very skilled guide with excellent English, who doesn't only have a lot of knowledge of the animals and plants, but also cares about safety and the wellbeing of the animals we observed. We were very lucky to even see two tigers on different days with him. I really appreciated his knowledge of birds too. Very happy to have had you as our guide Papu!

This place is family-run. The location is perfect, and while the facilities are basic, they include everything you need. We stayed in a small traditional cottage overlooking the beautiful flower garden. Waking up in this environment is incredibly peaceful. There’s also a small restaurant, with a menu that offers a subtle nod to European cuisine. Mr. B is retired, but still very involved with the guests. His sons Bibek and Bibesh, along with Loken, are experienced guides who take you on safari. They show great respect for the jungle and all the animals that live there. Because everything is freshly prepared, it can sometimes take a little while for your meal to be served. I definitely shouldn’t forget Bibek’s wife—on the days we weren’t on safari, she took great care of us. Everyone here is warm, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile for you. During the time we were there, spotting tigers, elephants, and rhinos was a real possibility. All in all, this place is truly a hidden gem—and one thing’s for sure: we’ll definitely be coming back here again.

Very cozy homestay! I would love to spend here more than 1 night. Next time we will come for at leats 3 days. The owner helped us to fix e-visa documents, he is very nice and friendly. I recommend it.

Bardiya is an amazing place, and this homestay is the best place from which to discover it. The whole family welcomed us with open arms from the very first moment. Khali is a lovely woman, she took such good care of us, and cooks the best Dal Bhat I’ve ever had. Nanu is a great host, passionate about wildlife and nature, and it’s incredible to venture into the jungle with him and discover its wild animals together. They helped us with everything we needed, made sure to vary the meals (all of them excellent), and we even cooked momos together. We truly hope to come back one day, and to see you all again! From the first minute I felt very welcome. The host Krishna helped me organize a tuk tuk from Ambasa village to him. I got a very nice and cozy bungalow. I really enjoyed the sunsets from my terrace. Krishna's wife and his team cooked delicious food and served me milk tea daily ;) This place offers you a paradise, quiet, surrounded by nature. You can go to Bardiya National Park with Krishna, he is an excellent guide and will do his best to see rhinos, elephants or even a tiger. I highly recommend this place for a longer stay. I was there for two weeks :) ❤️
