Loved staying here the staff where so friendly
The room though basic was clean and the beds comfortable
The pool outside was warm and clean the hot tube to die for relaxing and soothing at 40*
All in all a great stay and one to recommend
There was a launderette with the washing machine free and a small fee for the dryer
Some great little bays to explore
Parking was directly out side your apartment with a small table and chairs placed outside your room
A small shop was in reception with essential on sale
A small colour TV with coffee and tea layed on with a fridge a small bottle of milk was supplied
The bathroom though on the small side had a walk in shower with towel supplied towel where supplied for use in the swimming pool and hot tube 😊👍👍👍👍
The facilities were awesome for the kids, it kept them entertained and out of my face!! Lol. House was very spacious and homely and felt like our own space. We were accomodated for 6 children and 3 adults comfortably, an overall great experience for us and our children.
Unique, 100 year history [ even the original wood is intact ]. Flexible check-in. Caretaker was very welcoming, upgraded me at no extra cost. Cosy bed. Spotlessly clean toilet and bathroom facilities. Well stocked kitchen. Relaxing lounge area and has a jukebox too!
Modern Bathroom and very clean, great shower, comfortable bed, good kitchen facility plus outdoor seating area (Unit Number 4) Free use of washing machine and tumble dryer. Unit 4 was at the back of the motel away from the road and was very quiet.
Very helpful and friendly staff. They went above and beyond to hold my bag all day and put my chilled fish in the reception fridge for me to pick up end of day. Really helped my working day. Thanks
Priya is not here to comment but she raved about your motel. When asked how is the accommodation she said " it is so good, location is perfect, and the room is clean".

The first city in the world 🌎 to see the sunrise and has beautiful beaches to swim. This city is family orientated and the lifestyle here is relaxed mode. The people here enjoy the hunting and diving/ fishing experience (kai gathering). Also alot of agricultural/ horticulture revolves here as well. There is also a lot of farming sheep & cattle here on the east coast and definitely comes with a beautiful coastline to drive and enjoy 💯👌 Highway 35... Stay blessed 🙌 enjoy your everyday 🙏

The hosts were incredibly busy, but took time to arrange another room for us.
This is a very old hotel, with all the maintenance issues that you can expect. There is no meals service, so guests need to bring there own food and drink or get some from the very small village store. Guests can use the full size catering kitchen.

Warm and friendly, lots of cafes, get out on to the board walk for an easy walk or take the Titirangi hill/maunga walk for a bit more of a challenge. DO make sure you greet and talk to people. Lots to see and do. PBC make the best hashbrowns and all day breakfasts.

Te Puia has nothing to offer.
Te Puia has nothing to offer. The only shop in town was closed. The hotel bar was closed, dining room and lounge were closed. No food or drink on offer. The hot springs The town is known for consisted of one tepid pool behind the hotel which was filthy and not even hot. All in all very disappointing stay. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable, no issue there. And the bathrooms were clean and functional. It's just a sham there was nothing else on offer to make it a stay rather than just a place to sleep

The Gisbourne coastline is perfect for getting away and some great self-care time. The town offered a good range of food, clothing op shops, but getting away from the crowds and driving along the coast was only 20 minutes out of Gisbourne, was worth the trip absolute paradise, its my number one holiday spot, I will be returning

This was more hostel like accommodation than hotel.
This was more hostel like accommodation than hotel. Small room but clean & tidy apart from very dirty windows -a good clean & repaint required. Bathroom refurbished & great shower but once again windows the same as bedroom.
Advertised pools were one pool which unfortunately was so extremely hot you could not get in !
Hotel frontage needed a clean up as did the "foyer" -a very dirty fish tank does nothing for the place
