The camp grounds and location are excellent. The shared facilities are clean and well located if staying in the cabins. The coffee cart & food options were very welcomed and a great addition to the camp ground. Definitely worth checking out the secret sauna.

It would be difficult to get a better location for uninterrupted Lake views. A large family sized house with everything you could want. Excellent communication with the host. Huge master bed with comfy mattress and cosy bedding.

Hawea Hotel is located just 15 minutes' drive from the township of Wanaka and is set on the lake front of Lake Hawea.

Such a well appointed space with lots of thoughtful touches. Hosts were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to help us with an event transport debacle. Loved having the cafe across the carpark, pastries are to die for!

Very well heated. The gas fireplace dried our snow clothes each night. The washer dryer was very useful. The bedrooms each had panel heaters and the upstairs bathroom had lovely underground heating and good shower pressure. The kitchen was very clean and had what we needed for breakfast and simple snacks. Four square was right next door, handy for snacks. Pembroke Patisserie was excellent and we were sad to say goodbye to it. Location was perfect for exploring the area. We liked that it was quiet and not crowded.
